Chap 2

I left for my work as today the management has something important to discuss about. I grabbed my coffee from the nearest coffee shop along with a sandwich and drove straight to my office. As right now the university is off so I am giving my whole time to the work in order to keep myself busy.

I entered the elevator and as I was about to press the button I heard a scream from far,
"Waitttttt!", my eyes got widened as I looked in the front direction and saw a girl running towards me with some files in her hand along with a bag that was hanging on her shoulder. She was wearing black jeans along with black and white sweater over a full sleeve white shirt and her hair fell on her shoulders. She skidded inside and that's when the elevator closed. My eyes were still open wide as I was processing what just happened.
"Phew that was close.", she said as she looked at me and smiled.
This was awkward so I just smiled.

We both were silent and the atmosphere became awkward. Soon the elevator opened and I rushed outside. I headed to my office and kept my things on my table when Changbin came in my room.
"Yo Joon come on the manager is calling u.", he said and I nodded.
As I exist the door I went inside the hall as that was where the meeting would be held. Even tho I just started my degree but due to my performance I already am the event coordinator.
"Good morning everyone, hope u all r doing fine!", the manager said then continued,
"First of all, I want to thank each one of u for ur continued dedication and hard work. It's been a pleasure seeing the team's efforts pay off in every event we manage, and I'm incredibly proud of how far we've come.
Now, moving forward, I'm excited to announce that we have a new project on the horizon. This event is going to be one of our biggest yet, with plenty of opportunities for creativity and innovation. We're working with a high-profile client, so it's going to challenge us, but I know we are more than capable of pulling it off with excellence. I'll be sharing more details later this week, but start gearing up for some intense planning sessions. We'll need all hands on deck for this one.....", he said then paused, then continued saying,
".....on that note, I also have another piece of news. We'll be welcoming a group of new trainees to our team from today. They're eager to learn, and I know they'll be looking to each one of u for guidance. It's a great opportunity to share ur expertise and show them how we work. Namjoon, I'd like u to take the lead on this. Please assist them during their onboarding process and help them settle into our routines. Your experience and knowledge will be invaluable to them, and I trust u to ensure they're well-equipped to contribute to our upcoming projects. Seungmin plz help Namjoon in this.
Let's continue to deliver top-notch work and show our new members what it means to be part of this team. I'm confident we'll make them feel welcome and set the tone for a successful future...", the manager said as he finished and gave a proud look to us.
"Thank u all, and let's make this next project our best one yet!", and then he left.
Now all eyes were on me. I mean yeah I knew I work good but this responsibility was huge. Didn't know I was that much capable for it.

Seungmin and I came out and then he gave me details.
"Yaah Joon this new team consists of 4 girls, and 4 boys.", he said.
"Okie let's divide them. 2 boys and 2 girls each.", I said and he nodded.
"Well I think they r here so lemme go and bring them in ur office.", he said and I nodded. Then I left for my room as well.
I was checking the details of the ongoing event when my door knocked.
"Come in.", I said politely and 9 heads started coming inside. And among them was this one girl I came in contact in the morning.

"Good morning everyone, hope u all r doing good.", I said and they all enthusiasticly replied,
"Yessss!".
Seungmin came and stood beside me.
"Welcome to the team!
First of all, I want to say how excited we are to have u all here. Starting something new can be both exciting and a little nerve-wracking, but trust me, u've joined an amazing team that's always ready to support and learn from each other.
Now, let me tell you a little bit about what we do. We've got an exciting project coming up, which means u'll be jumping right into the action. Don't hesitate to ask questions, share ur ideas, and get involved-this is ur chance to learn and grow. And remember, making mistakes is part of the process, so don't be afraid to step out of ur comfort zone.

So, let's get started, and let's make this an experience u'll never forget! Welcome aboard!", I completed and they all had huge smiles on their faces. I just love it when freshers show this much enthusiasm, it shows how dedicated they r.
"Okay so guys we both will be leading u, and u all r free to ask any question just like Namjoon said. So to begin with plz give ur introduction one by one, with ur name, age, and what currently r u doing.", Seungmin said and one by one they began.
"Hi everyone! My name is Seo Yuna, I'm 22 years old, and I'm currently studying event management at Seoul National University. I've always had a passion for organizing events, and I'm really looking forward to learning more here!", said girl one.
"Hello! I'm Kim Minho, and I'm 23 years old. I'm in my final year of business administration at Yonsei University. I've worked part-time at a few events before, and I'm eager to dive deeper into this field with you all.", said boy one.
"Hi! My name is Park Jisoo, and I'm 21 years old. I'm currently majoring in communications at Korea University. I've been involved in organizing school festivals, and I'm excited to gain more hands-on experience in event management.", said 2nd girl.
"Hey everyone! I'm Lee Hyeon, I'm 24, and I just graduated with a degree in hospitality management from Kyung Hee University. I've always enjoyed the energy of big events, and I can't wait to be part of the team.", said second boy.
"Hello! I'm Jung Taeyang, I'm 23 years old, and I'm studying public relations at Yonsei University. I love working with people, and I think events are the perfect platform for that, so I'm really happy to be here.", said 3rd boy.
"Hi! I'm Shin Haeun, and I'm 20 years old. I'm currently studying arts and culture management at Sungkyunkwan University. I've always loved the creative side of event planning, and I'm eager to contribute my ideas.", said 3rd girl.
"Hey everyone! I'm Kang Daesung, 24 years old, and I'm a graduate student in international business at Seoul National University. I've had a little experience organizing conferences, and I'm excited to learn more about all aspects of event management with you guys!", said 4th boy.
Then my eyes landed on this last girl.
"Hi! My name is Kang Soyeon, and I'm 20 years old. I've already completed my degree in event management and have 6 months of hands-on experience working at another event management company. I'm eager to bring what I've learned to this team and continue growing alongside all of you!", she said and my eyes widened. Infact everyone in the room got their eyes widened. She is younger than me and already finished her university. Nice.
"Well it's great to have u all here so now let's divide u all into 2 groups.", Seungmin said.
"So Park Jisoo, Seo Yuna, Kim Minho and Lee Hyeon u 4 will be one group under my supervision and Kang Soyeon, Shin Haeun, Jung Taeyang and Kang Daesung, u will be all in group 2 under Namjoon's supervision.", Seungmin said to which we all nodded.
Then I got a call, I looked at the caller's ID and saw it was Noona. I picked the call and my eyes widened when I heard voices of screams and things breaking.
"Na...Namjoon plz quickly come.....AHHHHH!", and then the call ended. My hands started to tremble.
"Ahh excuse me, Seungmin if u don't mind can u give them all a tour actually I have an emergency and I have to go somewhere.", I said bringing him in the corner.
"Sure dude, but is everything alright.", he asked worriedly.
"I hope so. I will be back.", I said and left.
