Chapter 22 - The fight of the century

She arrived in less than a few minutes, overtaking all the cars at an impressive speed. She parked and got out to head towards the apartment.

"Do you think Dad will be okay?" the youngest asked.

"I have no idea... It's all my fault!" she screamed in frustration.

"It's not your fault" Eri comforted her.

Ochaco walked to the stairs and went upstairs to get something.

She came back down with a magnificent black katana with a pink glittering blade and headed back towards the car, under Eri's astonished gaze.

She hit the road again, driving recklessly, and within minutes arrived at the concert hall. She saw Denki and Kyoka evacuating all the buildings that hadn't been destroyed yet from Dynamight and Deku's battle. Ochaco drove in the direction indicated by the two heroes. She sped up to try to catch up with Izuku. She finally saw him fighting two women. She approached him with a skid, flung open the car door, and pulled him inside. She continued driving at high speed, trying to shake off the two women chasing them.

"Hi, how's it going, darling?" she said.

"Much better now that you're here. But you should have stayed home. It's dangerous, Ochaco" he told her.

"It's my fault, so I'm going to help. I even found this katana" Ochaco declared.

"That's where it was? We'll need to return it to Zoī later" Ochaco looked at him strangely. "Don't ask questions. If you want to help, deal with your aunt and cousin. I'm going with Kacchan to take care of All For One."

Ochaco stopped the car, and they swapped places. Izuku set off again, and Ochaco waited for the girls.

"Fancy meeting you here!" said the brunette.

"You're looking more and more like Reina, you know?" her aunt told her.

"Stop the chit-chat!" Chikako shouted as she lunged at her with her own katana, which Ochaco blocked.

"If that's how it's going to be" Itana continued, drawing her katana and joining the fight.

Ochaco wasn't sure what to do, she needed to stop them. It was her first fight, and the longer it went on, the more she felt like she was Cloud and her two adversaries were Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII or Zack and Angeal from the same game...

She thought about how to bring them down without killing them... Maybe she could try to knock them out or break something. First, she needed to focus on one person at a time. She chose her cousin. She ran towards her and tried to strike her with the katana on the arm. She got closer to Chikako and managed to hit her on the shoulder, making her drop her katana, which gave Ochaco a nasty cut on her thigh. She winced in pain, and her cousin grabbed her with her other arm to make her fall, but she dodged and punched her to knock her out.

"That's going to leave quite a mark, you fool!" her aunt shouted.

Itana ran towards Ochaco and struck her with the katana, creating another cut on her arm. Ochaco moved back a few inches and tried to hit her, but her aunt blocked the attack. Ochaco pushed her aunt's katana away, and with force, made her drop the weapon. The young woman then drove the katana into her leg and pulled it out. She activated her Quirk and touched several stones; more than a hundred surrounded her, and she was preparing to cancel her power to make them fall on them.

"Before you do that, Ochaco, listen to me" Itana pleaded. "He's the one who killed them." She pointed to All For One with the little energy she had left. The brunette deactivated her Quirk. After hearing this, she stood still for a minute. Then Kyoka and Denki arrived.

"Go help the guys" Kyoka told her.

"We'll take care of them" Denki said.

Ochaco started running towards Deku and Dynamight, as well as All For One.

Meanwhile, Izuku drove towards Kacchan and finally arrived. He got out and prepared to face his worst enemy.

"Here you are! Did you take them down?" the blond asked.

"No, but Ochaco is on it," he told him.

They continued running towards the villain. Dynamight was the first to charge at him, but All For One threw him to the other end of the battlefield.

"I don't want to fight you," he said, then looked at Izuku. "How long has it been since we last saw each other, my dear Deku?" he asked.

"A long time, and I would have preferred to know you were dead!" the hero shouted, activating One For All to fight him. He ran towards him, landed a blow in vain, and was skillfully pushed back, finding himself now behind him. He turned around and looked at him.

"How did you meet Ochaco, tell me?" he asked.

Izuku didn't answer and charged at him. He used his smoke screen to camouflage himself and reached his enemy's back, delivering a powerful kick that destabilized him.

"So you're not going to answer my question, are you?" the villain said before delivering a blow to Izuku's ribs. Izuku recoiled in pain and charged again. How could he defeat him, he wondered. Deku continued to chase him and delivered a kick that threw him against a wall, making him collapse. By the time Deku reached the wall, the villain had moved to deliver a blow to his stomach, making him bleed. But despite all the blows he took, he kept getting up and delivering equally fierce blows to All For One. The more time passed, the more both were bleeding heavily. The villain landed a very violent blow to Izuku, and he couldn't get up, but he had to. All For One wouldn't last much longer; he closed his eyes for a minute, as he was about to take a hit, but when he opened them again, he saw Ochaco blocking the attack with her katana.

"Ochaco..." he said.

"Are you okay, darling? Can you get up?" she asked.

"Now that you're here, it should be okay, my love" he told her as he got up.

"You two are so cute" All For One said sarcastically.

"Why did you kill them?!" Ochaco screamed at him.

"Who?" the villain laughed.

"My parents!" she cried.

"Oh, them. They were just pawns. I thought you would come to see me once they were dead, but no" he said.

Ochaco drove her katana straight into his belly, out of anger and sadness. No one saw it coming, and she let him go in fear and fell to the ground, not knowing what to do. Izuku approached and removed the katana from where it was. He looked at the villain's lifeless body before turning back to Ochaco.

"Did I really kill him?" she said.

Izuku approached and took her in his arms.

"Yes, but it's for the best" he said, trying to calm her.
