Seonghwa
"So where is the letter?" Seonghwa mentioned as they got back to Yunho's cabin after an awkward scolding session from him. Which he obviously deserved and accepted. Yunho strangely still managed to find the cloak after it was dragged away by the wind.
"I burned it." Hongjoong calmly replied, putting over a new shirt and tossing away the other one that had his blood stains.
"What? Why?" Seonghwa stopped, holding all of his belongings.
"Maybe because I was too upset about it that I directly burned it."
Seonghwa went silent, "I didn't know you liked me that much."
"Neither did I." he smiled.
He shyly returned the smile, taking out the small pouch which contained all the three missing pieces of the Rixa Rubin. Seonghwa can't believe he found three out of four in just a span of two weeks. It really felt surreal like he can't imagine what big of a change it would bring once he gets his hands on the last one.
All of the dangerous memories they've made together, will soon come to an end and everything will be back to normal.
Seonghwa would go back to his prince duties and when Hongjoong, Mingi and Jongho repair the ship, they will be out in the large oceans sailing again for treasure. Yunho would go back to his dragons. Wooyoung as his servant. Yeosang and San will return to their hunting sessions. As if nothing had happened.
It hurts a little to think about it but they all made an agreement on it. It's just nobody thought it would come to an end soon.
"Will I ever see you again?" Hongjoong's random question caught Seonghwa off guard. It seemed like the male had the same thoughts as him.
"What?" he slowly stood up.
"I thought about what you said that night on the roof." he says, "What if I don't want you to leave? What if I want you to keep disturbing as much as you like? Would you do it?"
Seonghwa flashed him a sad smile, "I'm sorry joong, but as much as I'd love for you to stay, we still have our personal lives. You're going to sail the infinite ocean as I stay behind with my boring duties."
"Then come with me, run away with me. Or we could stay, we have the volcano island remember? I would still be close to you." Hongjoong suggested.
Seonghwa held his face with one hand, "You don't know how much I want you to stay although you can't. We don't even know if this would actually bring everything back to normal."
"Ofcourse it will, and if it does. I will stay with you." Hongjoong's hand crawled up to intertwine their hands.
"If it does then I promise to go sail the ocean with you." Seonghwa light laughs, making the other chuckle aswell.
