The Forsworn army al looked to see where the horn was coming from. They assumed it was the Thalmor but this was an odd way of showing their presence.
"The elves must not of liked our plan, prepare to fight." Casix yelled as he heard the trumpet.
Casix mounted his own horse and looked down the main road and saw what appeared to be a few dozen men on horseback charging towards the city.
He stared to laugh.
"Archers to the entrance. We'll stop this problem before it begins. "
Around fifty archers lined up near the entrance and drew their arrows and awaited their instructions to fire. The trumpet continued to blare getting louder and louder as they approached.
They were finally now past the stables and almost the entrance so Casix could get a good look at them. In the middle of the Calvary was a very large Nordic man with a long braided beard. He had armor made of Dragon bones and lined with silver. He had a shield with a symbol of a dragon on it. All but three of them were wearing armor with the same dragon crest on the chest pieces. The remaining three were wearing imperial armor.
"Dovahkin!" Casix said under his breath.
"Fire!" He yelled.
All the archers fired at once sending a wave of death towards the Dragon born and his Acolytes.
VEN(wind) GOAR(unleash) NOS(strike)!"
They heard him shout as a strong tornado dropped from the sky and ran across the front line of archers. Trapping many of them in the cyclone and throwing them and the arrows they shot scattered in all directions. The forsworn army began to panic and started to run back away from the entrance as they saw this unheard of display of power eat through their front line archers.
Trish used the distraction to grab Aratore's bow and her clothes and make him stand up. She threw his arm over his shoulder to help him get out the street as walking was now a painful endeavor for him.
The Acolytes all charged the city behind them and headed straight for the forsworn and pulled their weapons from atop their horses.
"TIID(time) KLO(sand) UI(eternity)" Jorgenson shouted.
Time nearly froze to a standstill for anyone in the city besides Jorgenson and his men. They had all their senses but any movement was so slow it was as if they were frozen. Jorgenson unsheathed his Silver sword and swung at the nearest forsworn and in one swoop decapitated him. In the stand still of time the head just floated in the air above his neck. He swung at the next man and removed his arm, which floated in time same as the prior man's head.
The Acolytes all continued to slaughter the defenseless and time trapped forsworn as they were all dismembered from their heads and limbs one at a time. The shout suddenly wore off and time resumed as normal as one third of the Forsworn army fell and the floating body parts all hit the ground with a large splat.
As soon as time resumed the carriage holding Vhornyak took off as fast as it possibly could before Jorgensen could see them. A wise move as letting him see their cargo would have undesireable consequences.
"Shield!" Casix hollered.
The Forsworn all started retreating behind the chained up citizens to create a human shield between them and the Acolytes.
Jorgenson finally noticed Casix sitting on his horse rising above his army. He also noticed dozens more men starting to surround them from in between buildings and even more archers appear from rooftops. He noticed they weren't wearing the same armor as the forsworn army and appeared to be bandits. Most importantly, they didn't have bows and weapons drawn towards him and his men but to the innocent people chained up being used as a shield.
