 **Siya's POV:**

Hey, guys! I'm an intern at AIIMS Mumbai, and today I finally decided to move out of my college hostel. The bullying from seniors and roommates had gotten too much to handle, so I'm making a fresh start. But honestly, I'm a bit worried. My ex-boyfriend is toxic—yeah, I know, it's stupid, but I'm scared of him. What if he comes looking for me and finds out my new address? That thought terrifies me. And to add to the mix, I'm moving in with a roommate I've never met. I don't even know if it's a guy or a girl. If it's a girl, I'll try to befriend her since I have no friends at all. If it's a guy, I'll keep my distance and mind my own business.

Alright, enough with the overthinking, Siya. Take a deep breath and step inside your new flat, which, by the way, is on the 9th floor in the heart of Mumbai. You might be wondering how I can afford such a nice apartment in Mumbai. Well, I'm a heart surgeon, so I'm well-paid. Plus, I have no one to spend money on, no one to surprise with gifts, and my toxic ex-boyfriend, Arav Bhatt, who's also a doctor (a neurosurgeon and my senior), wasn't into that stuff anyway. It's just me now, so I spend my money on my needs.    Standing in front of my new apartment door feels amazing. I can already imagine the view of the city from my balcony—well, not just mine, but ours (can't forget about the mysterious roommate).    As I stood there with the landlord, she said, "Hey dear, don't be nervous. Here's your key. Your flatmate will be back in a few days." She handed me the keys and left. I opened the door and was pleasantly surprised—the place was well-organized and beautiful. Maybe my flatmate wanted to make a good impression.    See, I told you it's clean and cozy! Now I'm pretty sure my flatmate is a girl. There are two bedrooms, and one of them is mine. I tried to open the bedroom on the left, but it wouldn't budge—must be my flatmate's room. So, the right one is mine. As the day went on, I set up my bedroom and ordered groceries online through BigBasket (I'm way too tired to go out shopping).
