Toby rolls his eyes, and we walk out of the studio and back into his car. I gave him the address of Mia's house so he could drop me off. Once he pulls away from the house, I knock on the door since I don't have a key.
"Coming!"
I hear Ms. Kayla say. Once she opens the door, I'm greeted with a smile. She moves over and lets me in.
"How was school?"
She asks me as she closes and locks the door behind me.
"It was good, math was interesting."
"Uhg I hate math."
Ms. Kayla groans, and I laugh.
"Well, Mia is upstairs getting ready."
I nod my head and go up the stairs. Once I open the door, I see clothes all over the floor.
"Woah, what happened here ?"
I ask. I close the door and step through the piles of clothes. Mia groans as she plops down on the edge of the bed, and I sit next to her.
"I can't find anything sexy to wear."
She says.
"What are your options, maybe I can help."
She shows me the bikinis she has laid out on the bed. There was a basic white one, then a strapless navy blue one, and then I saw a black one—the top hooks on the neck and around the lower back. The bikini bottom looked like panties, but the straps go higher on the waist doing a criss cross around the stomach.
"This one."
*MIA'S OUTFIT INSPO*
I say, pointing to the black one.
"You sure?"
She asked with raised eyebrows. I nod, and she gets off the bed and heads to the bathroom.
"Oh wait!"
I yell at her, and she turns around.
"What about the accident you had at school?"
"I got it covered."
She says as she leaves the room. I'm confused about whatever that means, but OK. I assumed she wanted me to match her. I get off the bed and go to the left drawer. I get my all-black Nike sports bra and black swim trunks with a white Hollister logo. I change into my swimsuit and sports bra. Since the swimsuit is too revealing, I grab a short-sleeve button-up to put on. My wavy hair is messy, as always.
"Ready?"
Mia says, coming into the room, and I turn to face her.
"Yup."
