                Nerves

( 2 months,2 weeks, 31 days after breakup with Jacob.)

(Kye and Finn dating = 1 month

2 weeks, 35 days)KYE broke up with Finn before school.

     At School in the gym during a free period.

Matt: So did Finn win his court hearing?

Kylie: Yes. Thank goodness.

Evie: Good. That predator needs to be locked up.

She says as she stands up off the bleachers and picks up the volleyball that rolls her way. She nods at the students playing and then looks at Kylie. "Do you mind if I play with them?"

Kylie shrugs. "Go ahead. I need to tell Matt something anyway."

Evie nods and throws the ball toward a student and takes her zip up hoodie off and jogs toward them.

Matt: So what did you need to tell me?

Kylie: The other day; Fin and I were talking and i was having sharp pains in my stomach. I placed my hands on my stomach and I felt a kick. And Finn did too. But that's not possible.

Matt looks flushed and shocked. "Not unless you two...."

"No we never." Kylie interrupts him.

Matt: Then it's absolutely not possible Kye. There is no record of a Virgin Birth in the Mer-Lore.

Kylie: That's what I thought. But that means something else is going on.

Matt: Or perhaps it's another things Kleodora did to you.

Kylie: What?!

She shrieks. Thankfully the gym is so loud no one notices.

Kylie: So you think she cursed me I. A different way? Like a baby kind of way.

Matt: No. I don't think that's possible either. Maybe she is making it seem like that's what happened.

Kylie: But why would she do that?

Matt: Why would she do any of the things she has done.

Kylie: To ruin me.

Matt: Yup. And that would ruin your relationships too. Especially with Finn and I.

Kylie: But why that specific thing?

Matt: That I'm not sure. Other than her lose of childhood has something to do with it. Like if a serial killer grew up a crappy life; they may be prone to kidnap kids.

Kylie: She is a serial killer.

Kylie: But that totally makes sense. The possibility of me having; you know what; will give her a chance at living vicariously through the child.

Matt: Exactly.

Kylie: There's another possibility.

Matt: Wjats that?

Kylie: The day the people broke in and hurt me and knocked me unconscious. Kylie holds back her sobs.

Matt gasps. "Oh God no!"

Kylie nods. "Maybe they spawned an evil child." She says still trying to carefully word the conversation so no one will pick up on their conversation.

Matt: If they did. I will kill them.
