CHAPTER EIGHTEEN: The Announcement

Saturday AUGUST 4th,2018

(3 months,2 weeks, 79 days.

( 2 months,2 weeks, 106 days after breakup with Jacob.)

(Kaylee & Brian dating = (4 weeks, 109 days

75 days since Kylie broke up with Finn.

Matt & Kye dating: 62 Days. (2 months)

"That's a lot I missed." Finn says after Matt and Kylie tell him abiut the very Mer-Folk dinner from friday night.

Finn shakes his head in disbelief. "And Lillian really thought she was entitled to Matt." He says astonished.

Matt shakes his head. "Yeah." "And you should have seen our girl." He nudges Kylie.

Kylie frowns embarassed. "I went pyscho on Lillian." Kylie admist.

"I had to pull Kye of Lillian. She literally jumped onto her and started to wail on Lillian." Matt says.

"No way!" Finn looks at Kylie astonished. "OUR Kylie." Finn says shocked.

Matt nods. "Yeah." He wraps an arm around Kylie. "Our Kye." "She's feisty."

Finn chuckles. He looks at Kylie admiring her. "So you are protective over Matt now." He smiles, a little but of him is dying inside. She used to act like that if she thiuht another girl was after him.

Kylie looks at Finn. "Finn." Kylie says quitly. She clears her throat. "I'd still do that with you."

Matt slowly takes his arm off Kylie, suddenly feeling a little jelaous.

Finn smiles at Kylie. "You would." He says as he gets off the kiving room chair and sits on the other side of Kylie on the love seat. He strokes her cheek.

Matt clears his throat, hoping to get Finns attention. But it doesn't work.

"You want me as your Oath Sworn Warrior now?" Finn asks seductively.

Kylies heart speads up and her breath quickens. "Yes." Is all she can say.

The front door slams shut and causes Finn and Kylie to jump and separate.

"Kylie!" Brianna yells upstairs. "Are you bringing a date to our wedding? Cause I found a perfect suit for whoever you are taking..." "Oh!" Brianna gasps as she enters the licing room.

Brianna stares at Kylie on the couch in between MAtt and Finn. The 3 of them are staring at Brianna.

After 10 seconds of awkward silence, Finn stands up and greets Brianna. "Brianna!" He exclaims as he walks toward her wth his arms open.

Brianna hugs Finn, but stares at Matt and Kylie confused.

When Finn lets go, Brianna finally says something. "It's so lovely to see you Finn! We've all missed you." "How was the Academy?" She smiles.

Finn smiles back. "It was actually awful." He chuckles.

FInn looks behind him at Matt and Kylie. "I couldn't talk to those crazy people." He laughs.

Brianna's awkward smile softens and she laughs with FInn. "So did you come back to escort Kylie to Kevin and I's wedding in a couple of weeks?" Brianna nudges Finn.

Matt clears his throat. Causing Brianna to look at him. "Are you happt to see your cousin back?" Brianna looks back to FInn. "I bet you all are happy to see Finn."
