CHAPTER FIFTEEN:It's Serious!

Friday AUGUST 3rd,2018

(3 months,2 weeks, 78 days.

( 2 months,2 weeks, 105 days after breakup with Jacob.)

        (Kaylee & Brian dating =                 (4 weeks, 108 days

74 days since Kylie broke up with Finn.

Matt & Kye dating: 61 Days.        (2 months)

    Kylie and Matt are outside helping Fabian and his BondMate set the 14 person table for the dinner.

    Kylie leans in toward Matt as the others are distracted chatting and laughing. "So you are already Bonded?" Kylie whispers next to Matt, her voice raspy. "Why didn't you tell me." She swallows back her tears.

    One of the many guests smile and wave at her from the other end of the very long table. Kylie forces a smile and waves back at the short  woman from the Niagara George Pod.

    Kylie places a couple of bowls down in front of her and smiles as another guest nods at her. She nods back at the stout man from the Kingdom of Audra; and guides Matt inside.

  "Matt!" Kylie yells at him to finally get his attention. He stops staring at the tall busty Mermaid from the Caspian Sea Pod.

    Kylie smacks him on the chest. Her anger and betrayal causes her to to not recognize her stregths.    

    "God Kylie. You didn't have to hit me so hard." He excllaims as he gathers himself.

    Kylie's jaw drops from pushing Mat back a few steps by just backhanding him.   

   Kylie shakes herself off. "Sorry."

   "Are you looking at me now?"

She says angrily.

    "Huh? I was looking at you." Matt lies.

    "Seriously." Kylie sinks into one hip. "You are going to stand here and lie?" Kylie motions toward the busty brunette.

Matt grabs her hand and brings guides her upstairs. He closes his door and letts out a long sigh. "I'm sorry. I was looking at Illiana." Matt groans annoyed. "And im even more sorry I lied."

    Kylie grabs his hand and starts to tear up again. "Thank you for being honest." She swallows hard. "Now be honest with me about......" Kylie wipes tears off her face as she sniffles. "About being bonded already?"

    Matt sighs relieved. He lets go of Kylie's hand and sits on his bed. "When I was 13; I was supposed to be  pre-Bonded to a girl. Her name was Lillian..." Matt rolls his eyes annoyed. "I wasn't ready to be Bonded yet. But my parents still moved us to the Surface and still had me go out with her a couple of times and Lillian informed me the fifth date; that she already wanted a child."

   "At 13?" Is all Kylie can say.

    "Yeah. 16 is normal for being ready for a Hatchling; but 13 was too soon; even in our standards." "My parents still pushed us to be bonded and after I turned 14; we had the Bonding Ceremony. We..." Matt motions toward Kylie. "Consummated our relationship, as humans would say."

    Kylie lets out a yelp. And Matt stands up and forces her to unclence her fists. "Kylie." He slowly sighs. "She cheated on me when I told her I didn't want have a Hatchling yet." Matt says, hoping he will ease Kylie's mind. He grabs her hands and looks into her eyes. "I've never loved anyone as much as I love you Kye. And I don't know why I never told you." Matt kneels down on both of his knees.
