CHAPTER THIRTEEN Clear!:

Sunday June 3rd,2018

(3 months,2 weeks, 17 days.

( 2 months,2 weeks, 44 days after breakup with Jacob.)

(13 days since Kylie broke up with Finn.

Kaylee & Brian dating = (4 weeks, 47 days

"So all the tests came back negative? Well besides the rape test." Matt sighs relieved after he and Kylie sit down outside of the church.

Kylie sighs relieved as she looks at the child across the street fighting his mom to get back into the car. Kylie rolls her eyes annoyed. "Why don't the kid just agree to eat his lunch before Ice Cream. It's not that difficult."

Kylie groans. "Sometime I can't stand kids."

Matts eyes widen at Kylie. "I have never heard you say that about anyone. Let a lone a kid." Matt scoots closer to Kylie. "Is everyhting okay Kye?" He asks quietly. He looks around him and leans closer to her. "Is the Sea Hag doing something else to you?"

Kylie rolls her eyes annoyed as she grabs MAtts hand. She looks into his pale blue eyes. She smiles, trying not to get lost into his eyes. "No. It's just everything else." Kylies shoulders slump. "Especially the Double Bond."

Matt slowly releases his hand from Kylie's. "I'm sorry. I know you would rather have Finn here for you than me." He says somberly.

Kylie blinks nervously. "I never said that Matty." Her voice cracking.

She looks behind her and sees her father talking to Pastor Daniels. She looks back at Matt and smiles. "Truth is.." She sighs. "I think Finn is right."

Matt furrows his brows. "What do you mean?"

Kylie looks down at her new wedged converse. "Yesterday when he snuck a call; he told me that I should move on. And you should be the person I should move on with because he'd rather me be happy and protected all the time. And I read his thoughts so I KNOW everything he said was genuine."

"So he gave you permission to date me?" Matt scoffs. "I don't need his permission. I'm your Oath Sworn Warrior Kye. I already have the right to be with you."

Kylie chuckles. "That's what I told him." Kylie looks back up into Matts eyes and grins. "He wasn't giving you permission." "He was being honest about how he felt; and he didn't want me to feel like I should put my life on hold for him. He trusts you and he said you are the ONLY guy he'd be okay seeing me with." Kylie's small grin turns into a smile that takes up nearly her entire face.

Matts expression suddenly changes. "Holly crap!" Matt says astonished. "He really is understanding this Double Bond better. I thought he was lying over the phone."

Kylie flinches. "He called you too?"

Matt nods. "Right before he called you. He told me basically the same thing. He also told me that I was the ONLY person he'd trust with you. In ANY curcumstance." My shrugs shocked. "Since he also snuck the call to me; I couldn't hear him that well over the loud backround noises; so I couldn't successfully read his thoughts."

Matt and Kylie shrug. "He's changing." They say in unison.

Kylie giggles as Matt playfully nudges her. "I miss hearing your laugh."

Kylie smiles at him. "I miss laughing like that Matty." She scoots closer to Matt and intertwines her fingers with Matts.

Matt looks down at their hands and sighs. "I love you Kye." He looks up from their hands and shows his pearly whites.
