The next morning found Onika waking up to Javan's foot in her face. She groans gently removing the foot before she was suffocated. She couldn't understand how he had such big feet for his age, he was even tall for his age. Standing a few inches taller than all his classmates. Onika found herself redoing his wardrobe every few months and boys clothes weren't cheap either! Especially now he's all grown and actually has tastes of his own.
Once her son wasn't suffocating her anymore, Onika got out of bed. She looked at the clock and was glad she woke up 30 minutes before her alarm can go off which will give her enough time to have a much needed shower and get the grumpy boy up knowing how he hates waking up.
She glanced down at her sleeping son and couldn't help the chuckle that escaped her mouth. He always sleeps so wildly which Onika suffers the consequences of thanks to the fact he always finds himself in her bed. Since the moment he was able to sleep by himself, he would always find himself in Onika's bed. Especially when she worked late and wasn't around during bedtime.
The brunette sighs but her heart filled with love, Javan was truly her first love. She didn't think she could give all her heart to someone until the day she held her son for the first time. Leaning over, she brushed his unruly dark curls from his face before kissing his forehead before she left the room to start getting ready.

The morning at the Maraj household was busy as usual as they prepared to start the day. Javan was dressed for school sitting at the dining table head down in his bowl of cereal scuffing his face. Both Onika and mama Carol moved around the kitchen making arrangements for the day.
Since Onika was working a two shift today, Carol would be picking up Javan later on from after school club because she had church activities which would ran slightly late. Onika was running slightly behind schedule even if she woke up 30 minutes earlier, sigh. She was just glad at least her boss was an understanding guy and wouldn't hold this against her. Well how can he when she was his best, top chef.

The woman who had spoken in gossipy tone was none other than 1/2 hosts of Good Morning with Monica and Keisha. It was unbelievable how far both women have gotten with their talk-show. The show discusses about wealthy folks, celebrities and who was who.
'And just how we feeling about the new appointed CEO?' the other woman asks her fellow colleague, the smile and teasing tone in her voice could not be mistaken.
Her counterpart hollers in laughter, using her clipboard she was holding to fan herself making her colleague laugh loudly.
'I actually had the pleasure of getting a glimpse of her and I wouldn't lie by saying I wasn't impressed, because I was' the smirk on her face said it all.
'Girl please you're in a national television!' The other woman chuckles as if she too wasn't eager to hear more.
'Listen I'm not blind, Beyoncé Knowles is hot!' She ended her sentence with a low growl making the other woman chuckle.
"Those two are so damn messy" Carol chuckles as she listened to her favourite talk show hosts. It was astonishing just how much mess those two make and yet they were still on-air and had such a large viewing ship. Maybe it was the fact both women were fair, sympathetic and not power hungry, Carol was shocked over the fact they still haven't been fired by the network because those two spoke their minds alright.
