Saffron and Hermione found no record of the files being taken out on loan and they discussed the prospect of where they could be on their way back to the Gryffindor common room.

"Loads of files are taken out by older students," Hermione assured a rather scepitcal Saffron, as they walked up the flight of stairs to the Fat Lady, the painting which took passwords in order to get into the Common Room. "It looked like lots from the mid eighties were gone as well,"

"I know," said Saffron slowly. But she wasn't sure she did know. She had an odd feeling in her gut that told her that those files were missing for a reason. Another large part of herself, however, told her that she was being extremely paranoid. "Ugh, I don't I know. It just feels weird, I have an iffy feeling about it,"

The iffy feeling continued, for when the girls went over to check the notice board directly to their right, once inside the common room, they saw a notice telling them that flying lessons would be starting in a couple of days.

Hermione instantly paled and Saffron turned to her apprehensively. The curveball in the consistency of their classes made both girls nervous. Hermione, because it was the first thing she couldn't truly learn out of a book, and Saffron, because Maya ended up in the Hospital Wing after her first flying lesson, and if that was to happen to the more competent Mitchell sister, who knew what would happen to her.

"I have an iffy feeling about this too," Saffron eyed the notice board apprehensively from top to bottom, looking for any potential escape route from having to take part in the lessons - illness, a non-compulsory lesson, anything. To her dismay, she didn't fine any escape from it.

Lavender and Parvati made their way down from the dormitories moments later and provided Saffron with a slight bit more comfort toward the daunting prospect.

"It's not that bad," insisted Parvati, offering both Saffron and Hermione reassuring glances. "It's almost like learning to walk, it's tricky at first but gets easier after a while,"

"Plus," Lavender lowered her voice. "I've heard all the best looking people play Quidditch; Roger Davis, Cedric Diggory, my favourite Oliver Wood, and even Cygnus Malfoy. Maybe one of them end up teaching us, that would be like my own private heaven!"

Saffron grinned. Lavender was boy crazy and it provided some much needed entertainment as the prospect of Quidditch only heightened her nerves that she felt about Rachel and Rowan back at Squires. The next morning Saffron made her way down to breakfast alone and went over to find Maya at the Ravenclaw table. To her dismay, she was not there however she was indeed eating in the Great Hall as her sisters voice called out her name:

"Saffron, over here!"

Saffron turned around towards the entrance of the hall to see that Maya was sat at the Gryffindor table instead. Next to her was her best friend Melanie who she had already met and across from them were two ginger haired boys. They had to be the Weasley twins that were Ron's older brother. Saffron felt slightly nervous to go over to them as she had envisioned talking to a smaller group or taking Maya off to talk alone, however, she was not in a position to argue as she wanted to hear how the older girl was going to help the twins.

"How are you?" Maya gestured for Saffron to sit next to her and Saffron obliged. Maya went on to introduce the group she was sat with to her. "You've already met Melanie,"

"Briefly," Melanie offered Saffron a hearty smile. Saffron wanted to slide down the bench a little bit. She had not exactly been the friendliest to Melanie as she had taken out her pent-up anger on the girl. Melanie then said to Maya. "Until I scared her off,"
