Chapter 33

Aiara lean against the counter as Felix burp Bella. He was becoming a pro at being a dad. Well apart from the puking part. He still hasn't master that part yet.

"She's getting heavy."

"She has her annual checkup on Monday. You coming?"

"There's too much blood there. But video call me."

"Will do. Want me to take her?"

"I like holding her. Not everyday I get to hold human babies."

Aiara check the time and see its almost tone to pick up Connie.

"I'm going to pick up Connie and pick up some stuff on the way. Want anything?"

"Those spicy pringles. Barbecue flavoured."

Aiara look at her fiancé. "When did you start eating pringles?"

"I saw them at the store when I went to get snacks for Connie. I try one and I like it."

"OK I'll pick up a few."

She kiss him before leaving the kitchen. Aiara didn't bother to change and just grab the keys and her purse.

When she got to Connie's school Connie was waiting by the door with some other kids and her teacher. Her face lit up when she saw Aiara.

"Mommy!"

"Hey baby." Connie run to Aiara and Aiara pick her up. "How was school today?"

"I make alot of friends."

"That's very good."

Aiara put her in her booster seat and strap her in. Aiara get in the car and head to the store.

On her way there she saw a black car following her. She found it strange cause she swear she saw that same car when she wad leaving the house. She dial Felix and keep an eye on the car at the same time.

"Honey don't tell me you forget what to buy."

"Of course not. There a car following me."

"Where are you?"

"Almost at the store."

"I'm on my way. Go into the store where there's a crowd. Doubt anyone would try anything with alot of witnesses."

"OK."

"Connie unbuckle your seatbelt sweetheart."

Connie unbuckle her seatbelt and Aiara let her climb over to the front seat. As soon as Aiara stop and turn the car off she got out with Connie and head inside.

Aiara felt a little better being surrounded by so many people.

"Nobidy move!"

Aiara silently curse.

"You!" Aiara look up from Connie to see a gun pointed at her. "Come with me."

"Over my dead body,"Aiara said.

"Bitch I'll shoot the brat."

"I'll like to see you try,"a voice hiss. It send a bolt of fear down Aiara's spine.

The man turn around and Felix pounce on him, ripping his throat out with his teeth. His eyes bleed red.

"Daddy!"

Felix drop the body and look at his family.

"Are you OK?"

"Daddy save us!"

"Always princess." Felix pick up Connie. "I'll send someone to clean up,"Felix said to the manager who nod silently.

"Let's go home."

Aiara hand Felix a wet nap and he wipe the blood from his mouth.

"You run here?"Connie asked when she only saw one car.

"Car is too slow."

"I'm glad you came."

"Something is brewing. I can feeling it."
