My Dearest,
I wanted to write you something that could somehow capture what I'm feeling, though I know no words could ever be enough. Do you remember that evening by the lake, when the skies turned pink as if the world itself was blushing? We were standing so close that the whole world seemed to disappear around us. I can still feel the warmth of your lips on mine, the way the water mirrored the sky, reflecting the softness of the moment as if time had stopped just for us.
That was the moment I knew—knew that whatever happened, I'd carry a part of you with me forever. It's funny, isn't it? How something so fleeting can leave such a lasting imprint. That kiss, under those pink skies, was like a promise that we'd always have this piece of eternity, no matter where life takes us.
But now, as I write this, I know that our paths are diverging. It breaks my heart to let go, but I also know that some goodbyes are inevitable, like the sun setting at the end of a beautiful day. Maybe we were always meant to be like that sunset—brief, intense, unforgettable.
I'll always hold onto that memory, the feeling of you close to me as the sky painted us in shades of love and farewell. And even though we're saying goodbye now, I hope you know that you'll always be a part of my sky, a part of that perfect evening by the lake.
Goodbye, my love. I'll miss you always.
Yours forever, in that moment,
Katsuki...
Izuku yelped, eyes widening in surprise as Katsuki suddenly swept him off his feet with an unexpected burst of strength. The warm air whipped against his face as they bolted towards the crystal-clear lake, the sound of laughter and splashing water growing ever closer. His heart pounded in a chaotic rhythm, a mixture of shock and excitement coursing through his veins. Katsuki's firm grasp was oddly comforting as he adjusted his hold instinctively, cradling Izuke close to his chest. Is he... is he serious?! Izuku's mind raced as he looked up at Katsuki's determined expression, a faint flush rising on his cheeks.
Before he could even voice his thoughts, they were airborne, the ground beneath them vanishing for a thrilling second before they plunged into the cool water. Izuku let out a splashing scream that was quickly muffled by the refreshing waves. When he resurfaced, he couldn't help but laugh, wet strands of green hair sticking to his forehead. "Katsuki! That was so sudden!" He gasped out, trying to catch his breath while clinging to Katsuki's shoulders for balance. Despite the initial surprise, the adrenaline rush coursing through him made his heart flutter in a pleasant way. He couldn't deny that being carried like this, so effortlessly held by someone he trusted, was strangely thrilling.
Katsuki's retort was swift and predictably teasing. "What, Midoriya?" he taunted, a playful smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "Didn't expect this from me?" He began to swirl Izuku around in the waist-deep water, causing Izuku to giggle and squirm in his arms. "You're just a little fish out of water now, aren't you?"
Typical Bakugou. Izuku thought fondly, a small smile playing on his lips despite the teasing. He tightened his grip around Katsuki's neck, green eyes sparkling with amusement. "Hey, at least I can still breathe underwater unlike some people!" he shot back, eliciting a playful growl from his boyfriend.
"Watch your mouth, Deku." Katsuki warned playfully, his tone laced with a hint of affection that only Izuku seemed to hear. He then leaned forward, dropping his voice conspiratorially. "Or I might just have to dunk you again."
Izuku's heart leapt at the threat, his breath hitching slightly at the proximity of Katsuki's face. The sunlight danced in his fiery orange hair, making him appear almost ethereal in the water. Is... Is he blushing? He thought, surprised and delighted by this rare sight. Feeling emboldened by their playful banter and the cool water surrounding them, Izuku leaned in closer, his lips mere centimeters from Katsuki's. "Try it if you dare, Bakugou." He challenged softly, a playful gleam in his eyes.
