** As Lil' Petey and Petey are walking back to DogMan's house from the Cat Kid Comic Club, LP says,"I wonder what Grampa's doing right now." Petey rolls his eyes, responding with, "Probably plotting a way to escape jail again."

** "Ya really think Grampa would do that?"

** "I KNOW he would, kid. Grampa, he's. . . He's a bad person. Unredeemable."

** "But papa, you thought that of yourself, and look at you now! And I thought you forgave Grampa."

** "For abandoning me and my mom, yes. But. . . There's some stuff that can't just forgive him for. . ." Petey looks away, ashamed. What would LP think?

** LP blinks, then smiles. "Well, at least you forgave him for something!" Of course kid would say something like that. He smiled softly, then looked forward. "We're here." The head inside DogMan's house. "Hi DogMan!" DogMan looked up from his dog bone, then signed "Hello LP, hi Petey!" Petey waved, and LP ran up to him and bear-hugged him. DogMan obviously hugged him back. Petey smiled, then thought of his mom. "I'm, uhh, gonna head to my room." "Okay papa!" Petey walked off to his room, his ears dropping. Mom. . . He felt tears well up in his eyes as he closed the door to his room. Her birthday's tomorrow. He remembered from this morning. He let some tears spill over as he sat in his bed, slouching as he took a picture of his mom of his beside table. "Mom. . ." He smiled softly, remembering her beautiful smile, her sapphire blue eyes. Her laughter filled his mind. He chuckled softly, still crying a bit. Then he started to remember the bad. There. . . there was a lot of bad. His mom crying, his mom standing up to Grampa after he hit him, Grampa hitting her. . .  His fist balled up around the portrait, more tears falling. He put down the picture beside him, and wiped the tears from his eyes. "No time for tears. . " He muttered. He put the picture back on the beside table, got under the covers, and tried to take a nap. He was exhausted from spending time at the comic club. He closed his eyes, hoping that he wouldn't have another "nightmare."

** Young Petey hid under a chair, tears falling fast, chest heaving  from running and panic. "JUNIOR. WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU, YOU LITTLE BASTARD." Young Petey put his hands over his mouth, hoping his dad won't hear him. Grampa's feet stopped where he was hiding, like in a movie. He looked under the table, and glared. "Found you." He grabbed Young Petey by the wrist. "Dad, no! Dad, please, I'm sorry." Young Petey didn't even know what he did, but he knew better than to talk back by now. "Peter, please! He's our son!" "This little FREAK is no son of mine! He's. . . He has. . . AUGH I forget what it's called. The same thing you have." "We are NOT freaks, Peter!" "I DON'T CARE GRACE." Grampa threw Young Petey on the floor, and raised his hand. "Dad, I'm sorry, for. . . existing?" Grampa brought his hand down anyway, slapping Young Petey HARD. Young Petey didn't  even know why he was so scared. He should be used to this by now. He didn't even know why his dad hated him so much, he just knew that it was his fault. That everything was his fault. . .

** "PAPA CAN YA HEAR ME? ARE YA DEAD?" Petey shot up out of bed, chest heaving, and sort of crying. He looked down at Lil' Petey, who had a concerned look on his face. "Ya were talking in your sleep, papa. You said 'I'm sorry dad, please stop.' What did you mean?" Petey looked at the clone whom he called his son. He wiped the tears from his eyes, and said, "Nothing kid. You don't need to worry. Now, why'd you wake me up." He semi-scowled, trying to show LP that all was alright, even thought it couldn't have been farther from the truth.

** As LP and Petey sat down for dinner, Grampa was busy putting his plan into motion. "Ohh guard! Help! I think I have a splinter!" The guard rushed over "OH NOOOO!!!" he looked closely at Grampa's paw, too close for his to realize that he snatched the key to his cell. "Nope, never mind. Honest mistake." Grampa shrugged, hiding the keys behind his back. "Oh okay." The guard walking off, humming a tune. Damn, these guards are so fucking stupid, haha, better for me. He jiggled the key in the keyhole, and the cell door opened. He strolled right out of the jail. "Now, I have to wait until nighttime to set my plan into action. MwahahahhahhahahaHAHAHHAHHHAHAHHAHA- *COUGH COUGH COUGH AUUGH COUGH HACK HACK*"
