ADHIRA

I entered the room and sat down and suddenly remembered that I hadn't told Saaira anything about my sudden plan.

Reaching for my phone, I realized that I also hadn't mentioned anything about my relationship with Vihaan.

Telling her directly that I was spending the night with him felt strangely awkward.

After debating with myself for a while, I finally sent her a message "I have something really important to tell you, but it's not something I want to say over the phone. I'll explain everything on Monday."

Feeling a sense of relief wash over me, I put my phone down on the side table and walked over to the cupboard. As I opened it, I saw it was filled with Vihaan's clothes, almost all of them in varying shades of black.

"Do you need anything, jaan?" Vihaan's sudden voice startled me.

I turned around to see him entering the room, a plate of pasta in one hand and a glass of juice in the other.

"Yeah, I was looking for a loose t-shirt of yours to wear," I replied, turning my gaze back to the closet as Vihaan moved to set the plate on the side table.

"Wait, let me help you," he said from behind.

He waited for me to step aside so he could find a t-shirt for me, but I stayed put, feeling a bit playful.

"You're something else," he murmured with a chuckle, stepping closer to reach into the cupboard.

With only one door open, the space was tight, and his body pressed against mine as he reached in. I froze, my breath hitching.

My eyes widened, realizing my teasing had gone a bit too far. My heart began to race from our closeness, and feeling his toned abs against my back sent a shiver down my spine.

I swallowed hard, trying to calm myself, but with him standing so close, shirtless and so effortlessly attractive, every part of me wanted to turn around and kiss him.

Vihaan finally pulled out a t-shirt and leaned close to my ear, his warm breath sending a trail of goosebumps over my skin.

He whispered, "I know my effect on you, and I love every bit of it." With a teasing smile, he placed the t-shirt in my hand.

I turned around to see him casually seated on the bed, leaning back with his hands behind him, his posture relaxed yet confident. "It's okay, jaan. I know I'm irresistible, but I'm all yours," he said, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

I gritted my teeth in playful annoyance. He was right—it was so hard to be near him without thinking of all the things I wanted to do.

Being his first girlfriend made me feel so much more connected to him in such a short time. With each passing moment, my feelings for him were growing stronger, which was thrilling and terrifying at the same time.

I shot him a mock-glare and made my way toward the bathroom, but stopped halfway, turning back to face him with a sly smile forming on my lips as I calculated my next move.

A flicker of confusion crossed Vihaan's face, but he quickly masked it, saying, "What's wrong? Go on and change. Dinner's getting cold."

I didn't respond, keeping my eyes locked on him. He hesitantly stood up from the bed as I walked closer, then turned around, presenting my back to him.
