**Chapter  27: Unexpected News**

Ayesha woke up feeling fine that morning, but as the day progressed, she felt weird. She ignored it, chalking it up to the usual stress of daily life. However, her mood swings became more intense, and she argued with Ahmed over trivial matters.

"Ahmed, yeh towels tum yahan kyun rakhte ho? (Why do you keep these towels here?)" she snapped.

Ahmed looked up, bewildered. "Yaar, woh towels yahin rehti hain hamesha. (They've always been here.)"

"Toh mujhe pehle kyun nahi pata tha? (Why didn't I know before?)" she retorted.

Later, she craved something specific. "Ahmed, mujhe golgappay khane hain. (I want to eat pani puri.)"

"Abhi? (Now?)" Ahmed asked, flustered.

"Haan, abhi. Warna mein tumse kabhi baat nahi karungi aur apne ghar do teen mahine rahungi. (Yes, now. Or else I won't talk to you and will stay at my parents' house for two or three months.)"

Ahmed couldn't help but smile at her childish demand. "Acha, theek hai. Chalain. (Okay, fine. Let's go.)"

In the middle of the night, Ayesha suddenly woke up and rushed to the bathroom to vomit. Ahmed woke up to the sound and followed her, rubbing her back as she heaved.

"Ayesha, kya hua? (Ayesha, what happened?)" he asked, concerned.

"Mujhe nahi pata, subha bhi vomit hui thi. (I don't know, I vomited in the morning too.)" she replied weakly.

Ahmed turned serious, scolding her. "Tumhe mujhe pehle kyun nahi bataya? (Why didn't you tell me earlier?)"

Nervously, she added, "Chakkar bhi aa rahe the... (I was also feeling dizzy...)"

Ahmed snapped his head towards her. "Ayesha, tumhe apni health ka koi khayal hai ki nahi? (Ayesha, don't you care about your health?)"

Suddenly, Ayesha started crying due to her mood swings. Ahmed realized he had been too harsh. "I'm sorry, Ayesha. I didn't mean to be rude, I was just worried about you."

"Nahi, aapko meri fikr nahi hai. Aapko bas mujhpe gussa hone ka mauka chahiye tha. (No, you don't care about me. You just wanted a reason to be angry with me.)" she sniffed and hiccuped.

Ahmed hugged her tightly. "Nahi meri jaan, I really care about you. I would never talk to you like that. I promise. Stop crying. I'll do whatever you want me to do."

"Okay, mujhe pani puri khani hai. (I want to eat pani puri.)"

Ahmed nodded and realized what time it was. "Iss waqt? (At this time?)"

"Haan, iss waqt. Warna mein kabhi baat bhi nahi karungi aur apne ghar do teen mahine rahungi. (Yes, at this time. Otherwise, I won't talk to you and will stay at my parents' house for two or three months.)" she said, looking so innocent with her puffed red nose and face.

Ahmed couldn't help but smile. "What's there to smile?" Ayesha asked, wide-eyed. "Are you laughing at me?" she started hitting him on his chest.

"You're so bad. Ek to aap mujhe pani puri nahi khila rahe aur yeh hans rahe ho. (First, you don't get me pani puri, and now you're laughing at me.)"

Ahmed chuckled. "Okay, let's go then."

"Saachhi? (Really?)" she asked like a child.

"Muchhi. (Absolutely.)" he replied, laughing.

Ahmed called his secretary. The sleepy and frustrated voice on the other end said, "Kis ko maut aayi hai itni raat ko? (Who is calling at this hour?)"

Ahmed, shocked by the reply, said, "Tumhare boss ko. (Your boss.)"
