One thing I never told anyone was that I was the child of Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Why didn't I tell anyone? Because it was a terminological inexactitude otherwise known as a lie. I was biting my nails as O'brian directed me towards the basketball court.

"The person with the highest point after the ten minutes game would decide what to do with the video and picture. Agreed?" I looked at him, trying my best to fabricate a puppy dog eye but instead, I did something else.

O'brian laughed, "you can't manipulate me," he king konged his chest, "I'm stone hearted." Still keeping quiet, he narrowed his eyes at me. "Agreed?"

I sighed, "agreeded." He set a timer on his phone and the game began. I started with the ball because he thought it was going to be 'fair'. As I bounced the ball in my hands towards the basketball hoop, O'brian came in front of me, did some voodoo dribbling and the ball disappeared from my hands. I looked around for the ball and saw O'brian shooting it into the hoop.

"That's two points for me." The match continued, me with the ball again. I decided to try and tackle him with a trick of mine so as I approached him, I acted like I had sprained my ankle. He was caught off guard and I quickly slid away from him, throwing the ball at the hoop. Instead of the ball to go in, it flew towards another direction.

"Curses." O'brian laughed and I frowned at him. "Bush boy!" He took the ball and bounced it towards me. When it was at arms reach, I stretched my hand to get it but he bounced it the opposite direction, running quickly towards the ball.

"Four points for me Kendall. You need to up your game." My frown intensified and my competitive spirit possessed my body. The ball was in my possession now and I tried once again to trick him. Knowing nothing about dribbling and strategies, I just threw the ball over his head and hoped it would enter the net.

"Yes!" I yelled, clenching my fist in the air. "That's two points for me baby!" O'brian chuckled, rolling his eyes. By the time the ten minutes were over, I was panting on the ground, completely exhausted. The score was 34-2. I got the thirty four by the way.

O'brian's face came into my vision as I laid on the ground, breathing like an asthmatic patient. "Just ten minutes and you're sweating like this."

"How can you play like this?"

"I've been practicing." I sat up, waiting for him to explain more. "I was part of the basketball team at school and I almost became captain."

"You said was? Aren't you still playing basketball?" He avoided my gaze, looking at the basketball hoop.

"Something happened," he seemed like he didn't want to explain further so I changed the topic.

"Could you teach me then?" He looked at me, his eyes sparkling.

"You sure?" I nodded vigorously. He immediately stood to his feet, pulling out his hand for me. I grabbed it and he pulled me to my feet. "First, let's learn how to shoot with the correct angle." We walked towards the hoop and he faced me directly before it. "Your hand should face the angle the hoop is at, straight and precise."

"Just saying it wouldn't help me to shoot well."

"At least, give it a try first." I narrowed my eyes, but slowly agreed. I held the ball properly like how he directed me to and threw it in the way of the hoop. Instead of it entering the hoop, it went the other way and fell on the ground.

"I told you," I said, placing both my arms on my side. He grabbed the ball and walked back to me.

"Fine." He stood behind me and I looked at him in confusion. He raised a brow, turning me around and making my back face him. He grabbed my hand, placed the ball in it and placed his hands above mine.
