Today's episode on how to get this crazy girl a boyfriend, Kendall was waiting for O'brian not so patiently on her porch. The funny part of it all was that since I came to Willow spring, reading wasn't my hobby anymore.

My new hobby was trying to keep my hearing, hoping I still had brain cells from the amount of time I've spent with O'brian and trying to get me a boyfriend. O'brian finally showed up and I walked over to him, grabbing the newspaper before he flung it at my head.

"So, what are the plans you've made?" I asked, crossing my arms. O'brian looked at me puzzled by my words. "Don't you understand English anymore?"

"I thought you were the one making the plans," he bemused.

"Between the two of us, who bares the name matchmaker?" O'brian looked around, as if someone would pop out from the shadows and save him from my wrath.

He pointed at himself, "me?"

"Exactly, so what's the job of a matchmaker?"

"How the heck do you want me to know that? Do I look like a floating baby wearing a diaper and holding a bow and arrow?"

"You sure look like the diaper," I teased. "Jokes aside, I am angry at you. You aren't doing your job well. Do you want me to kiss you?"

"No! Especially since you haven't brushed this morning," he held his nose, fanning his face.

"Hey!" I yelled. "I brushed this morning, maybe it's your stinking mouth you're smelling." I used the newspaper in my hand to smack him on the head. "Make up an excuse and bring Matteo to the park this afternoon by two. I'll be waiting."

O'brian groaned, "This ship wouldn't sail, Kendall."

"How sure are you?"

"Like infinity sure, trust me."

"Trust?" I scoffed, "says the guy with an embarrassing photo of me." O'brian laughed and shook his head. "So would you?"

"I can't promise that he would show up." When he saw my glare, he winced. "But I'll try my best."

"You better." I used the newspaper to smack his butt, chasing him away. He rode his bicycle but before I could enter my house, O'brian shouted.

"Don't forget to brush!" I turned to his direction and glared at him. He winked, making me to cringe and rode away.

"Bush boy."

I checked the time on my phone and saw it was two o'clock. Looking back at the entrance of the park, I still didn't see Matteo and O'brian anywhere. Did this guy double cross me? If he did, his parents should get ready for a funeral. My legs anxiously bobbed up and down, while my fingers fidgeted.

I tried keeping myself calm by humming a very melodious music but my tone was just off beat. "Oh Brian, you are dead."

"Kendall!" O'brian shouted from behind me. I turned around and saw him with Matteo. A big smile slid up my face as they approached me. "Fancy seeing you here. What did you come here to do?"

I looked at O'brian with fire in my eyes. He knew I didn't have an excuse and he asked. The smirk on his face proved me right and just because Matteo was here, I spared his butt.

"Maybe, she wanted to escape from her grandma," Matteo said. I looked at him and gave him a grateful smile.

"How did you know? You must be super smart." I stood up, extending my hand. "I'm Kendall if you don't remember." O'brian coughed, trying to stifle the laughter he was holding. Matteo shook my hand, clearly feeling awkward about it.

Kendall, remember to drink poison as you get home. Alright?

"What are the two of you doing here?" I asked.

"Sean dragged me over here saying there was a play but it seems like nothing is going on." He looked around the empty park then at his cousin, realizing he lied.

"Oh look at the time, I have to go bathe Winnie the dog," He looked at his watch, shaking his head.

"But if I recall, you bathed him yesterday."

"Winnie gets dirty easily," he replied.

"I saw him and he was clean."

O'brian stood quietly before he abruptly waved at us and ran. "Bye." When he left, Matteo's whole attention was on me and my neck started to sweat.

"That's an odd kid." I gave him an awkward laugh because at this moment, my tongue had twisted, my brain cells had died and my heart beat was super erratic. "So, Kendall, how long have you been at Willow Spring."

"Just two and a half weeks." I answered. "And how long do you plan on staying?"

"I'm not sure yet but it might not be long." My heart shattered. I started begging God for him to have a change of heart because I really wanted us to become a thing. "How old are you Kendall."

"I'm eighteen. I turned eighteen March 18th," I laughed, snapping my fingers at him. What kind of awkward mess was I becoming? "And you?"

"I'm twenty one. I turned twenty one May 30th." He did the same as me, snapping his fingers. Oh God, he was even considerate. Handsome, considerate and handsome. "Do you know why Sean lied?"

I shrugged. "How would I know? That guy's a turmoil of uncertainty." Matteo laughed at my joke, causing butterflies to erupt in my stomach.

"That's a new way of describing him." We started walking around the park, talking freely about anything. "How did you meet Sean?"

"He's the newspaper delivery boy and he threw the newspaper on my head."

"Oh," he said. "I didn't actually believe Aubrey would go forward with her words." I looked at him, confused.

"Huh? What do you mean?" He shook his head lightly, giving me a charming smile.

"It's nothing." The date as I would love to call it was beautiful. After walking around the park, Matteo had to leave because he was meeting up with his friends. I waved him goodbye and sighed dreamily. I started dancing my happy dance, swaying my hips and flipping my hair until I heard laughter.

What did I expect? What the hell did I expect? I turned to the where the laughter came from and saw O'brian hiding behind shrubs and filming me. He had a hobby of obstructing privacy. I walked over to him, fuming from my nose and ears.

"Good God O'brian, is this how much of a fan you are now?"

"A fan?" I placed a finger on his lips, shushing him before he lied.

"Don't try denying it. First a picture, now a video. You're such a barf-arazzi." Please, someone should play paparazzi by Lady Gaga. He pushed my finger off, cringing at my words and wiping at his lips.

"Me? Be a paparazzi to you?" He laughed incredulously. "In your nightmares."

"Don't deny it, O'brian. Prove you aren't a barf-arazzi by deleting the video and the picture." O'brian smiled, getting out of the shrub.

"I see what this is. Such a sly little fox," he circled around me. "You want the video gone by daring me knowing I never back down from dares."

"What? I didn't even know you never backed down from dares," I said pin pointedly. "All I want is for you to prove you aren't my paparazzi and delete the freaking video and picture."

"And if I don't agree?" When I moved closer, he moved farther. "Don't you try blackmailing me with a kiss. I might just agree to kiss you this time." My mouth fell open, shocked.

I held up my hands, surrendering. "Fine, let's just play a game and the winner gets to decide what happens to the video and the photo."

He raised a brow, not convinced by my truce. "I get to pick the game?"

"O'brian," I cried. He shrugged, not changing his mind. "Fine, you choose the game." He smiled, feeling badass. "So what shall it be?" He smirked devilishly, clicking his tongue.

"Basketball."
