The rain started to let up as Phil and his friends are in a deep sleep while Lilith kept watch for any dangerous animals that might attack. She wondered about their planet and how it came to be bad by overpopulation. She never understood how a human mind works, but she knows that not all humans are evil, like Phil. She noticed the sun was starting to come up and she immediately left the campsite before the Fox anthros came to escort Phil and his friends back to the village.
"Looks like they passed. All six of the humans are still alive and well." A female fox says.
"Yep. Guess you six are worthy in our tribe after all." A male fox says with an impressed nod.
"Thanks." Phil says.
"So is this over? No more tests?" Marcus asked.
"Yep. No more." Another fox says.
Phil and everyone headed back to the village as Leader Sean waited for them to head back. He was impressed that all six of them survived the night in the dark area of the forest. He was expecting that a few of them wouldn't survive the trial since he knew a few fox members died during that trial. But Sean decided to fully trust Phil, Winston and the other four, even though he hated humans at first, but he started to understand that not every human is evil.
As the time passed, Phil looked at his new tattoo that he received on his shoulder after the initiation of being accepted into the tribe. Him and his friends were happy as they were accepted into their new home as they were enjoying a huge feast for dinner. Winston was hungry as he ate some cooked fish and meat from his plate.
Craig and Marcus were having fun hanging with some foxes that are close to their age with a game of catch as they never experienced in their childhood. As for Tyler and Reyes, they enjoyed having the freedom of what they never had while they were in the military.
As Phil was full and stuffed, he took his wooden plate and cleaned it in the cauldron that was used for dirty dishes. Lilith then surprised him from behind in a playful way.
"Hey." She says while covering his eyes from behind.
"Oh hey, Lilith." He says while a little nervous.
"Congrats on proving yourselves to our family." She praised him.
"Couldn't have done it without you." Phil says while smiling bashfully.
"It's no problem, I just wanted to make sure you guys were safe from that dangerous forest." Lilith says.
"Thanks."
"You want to see something cool?" She asked.
"Sure. What is it?" Phil asked while curious.
Lilith then takes his hand and takes him somewhere out of the village and she guides him through some huge trees and some deep bushes. Phil tried to keep up as he tried to watch his step while following Lilith up a small mountain.
"What do you want to show me?" He asked while trying to keep up.
"This amazing view of the forest from this cliff." Lilith says as she shows him.
