As it started to become nightfall, Lilith was starting to worry about her father not returning to the village yet.
"What's taking him?" She asked while concerned.
"Did he come back yet?" Phil asked.
"No. He should be back by now. It's getting dark." Lilith says.
"You don't think..." Phil says before he was instantly interrupted.
"They better not hurt my father! They wouldn't dare!" She shouted with anger.
"Calm down. I'm sure he will be back soon." Phil says as he tries to console her.
"Princess!" A male Fox shouted as he ran to her in panic.
"What's going on?" Lilith asked while concerned.
"A group of human soldiers ambushed your father while heading back to the village." The male Fox explains while distraught.
"What?!!!" Lilith shouted while enraged.
"They are taking him, and his royal guards that were with him back to the human base." The male fox added.
"We have no time to lose. I'll go, and save my dad. General Vince will have gone too far!." Lilith shouted as she went to get her bow and arrows from her hut.
"Is it official that it's war?" Reyes asked.
"I have no doubt." Marcus says.
"Lilith?" Phil asked as he followed her to her hut.
He noticed that she was livid for her father being taken as hostage by the human army.
"You okay?" He asked.
"No I'm not. After I save my father, war will be declared." Lilith says as she gears up.
"Let me come with you." Phil says as he grabs his spear, bow, and arrows.
"Alright." Lilith says as they head out of the village.
"Can I come along?" Winston asked with confidence.
"Sorry bro. It's too dangerous for you. I don't want you to get hurt again after that incident of you getting shot." Phil says.
"But we're bros. Brothers to the end." Winston says as he really wants to come along.
"Sweetie, the last thing I want you is getting killed. You are only five years old. If you want to help, set up the defenses around the village." Lillith suggested.
"Okay, but please make it back in one piece.
"We will. I promise." Phil says as he gave Winston a fist bump.
"Come on, Phil. We have no time to waste." Lilith says to Phil as they leave the village.
As an hour passed, they were able to make it to the human territory, and noticed it was heavily guarded by more patrols than usual.
"They could be expecting us to come here for your dad." Phil says he hid behind some trees.
"Stealth is still an option. Looks like most of these soldiers are adults. If there are child soldiers around, we can sedate them with blow darts." Lilith explains.
Kill the adults, sedate the child soldiers. Got it." Phil says as he takes a spare blow dart tube from her.
"I'll take the lead, stay quiet, and do what I say." She spoke as she started moving.
Phil nodded, as they crouched down, and started heading to the human base.
"Two soldiers ahead, the spirits are telling me they are both adults. Take the one on the right, I got the one on the left." Lilith says as she loaded her bow, and arrow.
