Seonghwa

Flashback

If his Mother was a witch with supernatural powers, wouldn't that mean that atleast some of those powers were passed on to Seonghwa?

That was what he was trying to figure out for the past month. Instead of crying all day and night, he experimented with the use of his thoughts.

The mind of a person is really powerful, it depends on how you use it. The purer your intentions and thoughts are, the greater the power. It was not for the faint of the heart with what Seonghwa was doing.

Shame on him because he had the most fragile heart out of everyone.

His eagerness was draining him. His thoughts were killing him on the inside, risking his pureness for great power that he will never achieve.

He stood today infront of the lake in the backyard's garden. His Mother's old sapphire diadem on the ground right infront of his feet, her necklace in his fist as he stared down at the jewelry.

The wind started to blow from different directions around him, he closes his eyes for another try in attempting to uncover his powers.

"It's time." a deep cold voice stated, breaking goosebumps all over Seonghwa's body as he opens his eyes.

It was the Ice Folks standing on each side of him, he could only stare at their reflection. Seonghwa would describe them as very pale people, white hair, light blue eyes, cold body temperature with thin clothing.

"Please give me more time Minho, I need to figure this out." Seonghwa pleaded.

They were after him ever since and he refused to be taken without solving the biggest mystery about himself.

"We have given you a month, if you still refuse then we will have to take you by force." Minho says.

"I know, if I succeed I'll come with you."

"What's seem to be the problem here?"

Seonghwa looked down at the necklace in his palm, "I can't discover my true self."

"Have you tried using your heart?"

That was it.

He was too focused controlling his thoughts when his heart needed to be taken over aswell. This time, Seonghwa wanted to change it up a little.

With the necklace, he wore it around his neck and concentrated on the two main things; his mind and heart.

Believe it or not, his eyes widened the moment he started to see little rocks from the lake levitating. And so eventually did his Mother's diadem.

All this time, he had to use the two most important things that he couldn't think of at first. How could he only follow his thoughts instead of his heart?

They both wanted different things.

His thoughts wanted power. His heart however wanted love and peace. He can't have both for some reason.

"So I guess this is solved." Minho remarked.

"I knew I had hidden powers.."

"Some powers are meant to be hidden."

Seonghwa glanced at him, "What?"

"Your powers were supposed to stay hidden." Minho says but the taller couldn't get his point.

"Why so?"

"I believe your Mother kept it hidden from you for a reason."

Minho stops for a second, taking a deep breath in before continuing.

"You are more powerful than you think, Seonghwa."
