Wooyoung
It had been a full year since Seonghwa went missing.
Wooyoung was in the worst state ever since. He couldn't get over his disappearance and was determined to find him.
While the others started getting hopeless, he never lost faith. He will find him. Wooyoung will find Seonghwa and bring him back home.
A year had gone by and Hongjoong hasn't returned, nor did they ever receive any news from him. Where was Hongjoong when he was needed the most?
Wooyoung was losing his sanity.
Each time he returns to the Ice folks, there was always something about the deadly cold air that would blow against his skin, causing him to shake badly and make him faint before he could even reach the mountain tops of the winter spirits.
Today, things started to change.
"I brought it! I fucking bought it!" Yunho stormed inside the cabin which was now a little bigger and wider because Seonghwa helped him renovate it so the eight of them could live together at some point, which didn't seem to be possible right now when two of their precious people were not showing up.
Wooyoung who was taking a nap, flinched awake. "What- Seonghwa! Ice! Fuck it's cold!"
That was ofcourse a trauma response.
At this point Wooyoung hated the Ice Folks with a burning passion.
"Wake up you little shits and come see what I got!" Yunho shouted and immediately there were loud footsteps running down like a bunch of trolls.
"Seonghwa? Hongjoong?" Mingi says, hoping to see them at the front door which he didn't.
"Not yet! But!" Yunho stops before smiling excitedly. He reaches for the large mysterious pouch that was around his waist before pulling something out of it with both hands.
Wooyoung noticed it was very round and heavy but he couldn't think of anything that could be round and heavy unless those big ass rocks on the shore. Well some of them.
"A dragon egg!" Yunho shrieked with excitement.
Everyone else's face dropped in disappointment.
"You got another dragon egg? Do you realize you have other 15 of those already grown up?" Mingi gave him a reality check.
He was right thought. There was nothing special to this since Yunho always brings home dragon eggs.
"No listen! It's not just any dragon! It's an ice dragon!" Yunho jumped, holding a thick blue colored dragon egg. It was fucking massive. About the size of San's head.
"An ice dragon?" Yeosang repeated.
"Yes! With this special little one we can train it and then we'll have no problem taking it to the mountains because the coldness is it's natural climate!"
Wooyoung's face lit up, "That's brilliant, Yunho!"
"I know right?! Why didn't I think of this much earlier?"
"If the cold is it's natural temperature, doesn't it mean that it has to grow up in the ice folks instead of here?" Yeosang questioned.
The excited smile on Yunho's face dropped, "Fuck right.. I didn't think that one through."
Everyone sighs.
Wooyoung stands up, "Does it look like we have another choice? If we really want to save our best friend then this is the only way."
"He's right, we have to try. I would rather risk it than abandon Seonghwa." San agreed aswell.
"How long does it take for the ice dragon to be fully grown?" Jongho asked.
Yunho pressed his lips together, "Two years."
Everyone groaned.
Now things will start to take longer.
Wooyoung sighs deeply, his hands running through his sleek black hair as he walked to the backyard where it was slightly pouring. Wooyoung doesn't think he can wait two years.
He just stood there by himself, thinking what could happen next. Why was it taking so long to save him? Why isn't Seonghwa showing up?
He needed answers immediately.
