Seonghwa
"Seonghwa-" Hongjoong abruptly stood up the next day the moment he regained his consciousness.
Seonghwa who was standing at the foot of his bed with the wooden floor frozen, leaving a trail that lead right outside the door when he entered. He was still all so white and covered in snow despite they were not in the Ice Folks anymore.
"Hongjoong, please don't touch." Seonghwa warned. He remember his hand that was frozen but surprisingly it wasn't anymore, must've melted due to the heat.
"What did they do to you..?" his heart broke at the massive changes the other went through.
Seonghwa looked at him with sad eyes, "We are being punished remember? For falling inlove with your enemy."
"That was 3 years ago, this is cruel." Hongjoong stood up, walking towards him but the older backed away.
"Don't come near, I will only turn you to ice." he says.
"I don't care I just want to-"
"Darling, please don't." Seonghwa quietly pleaded with those blue cold eyes of his.
"Seonghwa, what happened to us?" Hongjoong was at the verge of breaking down infront of him.
"Hongjoong what we did was wrong, I was at fault. We knew we weren't supposed to fall inlove but we still did, we did this to ourselves." he stated, "She cursed you with forever youthness and I became a winter spirit, I can't touch anything or anyone without freezing them to death. Hongjoong we weren't destined to be together in the first place. It's just forbidden."
"Forbidden to fall inlove with you? Seonghwa please kill me instead." Hongjoong cried, "If I can't see you again then there is no point in living, please just turn me in to ice-"
Seonghwa immediately refused, "No Hongjoong, you have to live. I want you to live."
"If I can't be with you then I don't want to." he took a step forward and Seonghwa did the opposite.
"Hongjoong, we can't be together. We took it too far and cursed ourselves for eternity, these are the consequence of our actions. My actions actually, I pushed you in to this but I never meant it to go this far."
A tear rolled down Seonghwa's cheeks only for it to end up as a piece of ice dropping to the wooden floor of the cabin.
"I don't care if we're cursed forever knowing I had spent the best days of my life loving you relentlessly. You did too, did you? Then don't say it so casually like nothing happened between us."
"Hongjoong please don't do this. Our love is just forbidden, we will never be together. You're now a pirate stuck in his early 20's body and I'm an immortal winter spirit. The universe is just unfair to us for some reason."
