Author's POV

Time is really weird. So many people doing such different things at the same time. While one cries for their lost love, another would be celebrating the arrival of their loved one into their life. While one dreamt of achieving something, another would be enjoying the results of the same achievement. While one enjoyed their success, the other would be drowning in defeat. Such was the case with the Moretti family and the Adhiraj family. While one family sat in front of cameras and celebrated their success and unity, the other sat behind different screens and saw what had happened to the girl they had broken a long time ago.

Swapna Adhiraj wiped her tears as she saw her daughter through her mobile phone screen. Her muffled sobs resonated in the bathroom walls, as she made sure her husband never knew she was watching the interview. Varun Adhiraj was in his gym watching the interview as he put all the anger in him towards her on the weights in his hands and groaned in annoyance. Ranjan Adhiraj, on the other hand, was in his office, watching the interview in complete silence and utter shock. It was the first time he had seen her in 8 years. After the fight in between his son and Ashwin, everything came back to him and he felt the same pull he had for his only daughter even after disowning her.

Apsara's mother looked at her daughter, in a black saree and chuckled. She remembered how her daughter used to wrap her duppatta around herself and pretend it was a saree. She looked nothing like that little girl that night. Naive or innocent or powerless came nowhere near describing her. She looked majestic, strong and confident. She looked like someone she never thought her daughter would become.

Varun looked at the man who called himself her brother and scoffed. He looked at how they made their family look perfect and assumed they really weren't and all of that was an act for the public eyes. Little did he know, not every family is like his and some people really, actually loved their family.

Ranjan just wanted to know what had happened to the two women who he had treated like his daughters, who had left him by falling in love without his approval for the men they fell for. He wanted assurance that he had done the right thing by throwing both of them out of his life. But the biggest shock of his life was waiting for him.

Myla's mother corrected a strand of hair on her daughter and smiled at her. "Mom, please. You have done this a million times already", Myla said in annoyance. "It's not everyday I see you in a saree, Myla. Let me admire my little girl for a while in peace". Her brother cleared his throat and commented, "Umm, she is not very little, mother. She weighs like a pregnant elephant", making his sister slap his arm angrily. "Kids, stop quarrelling. You both are celebrities keep that in mind. God! When are you both growing up?", Mr. Marco Moretti said while correcting his hair for the 100th time that evening.

A woman in a black hoodie and a messy bun walk to them and asked them to enter the stage and the couple walked hand in hand first, followed by their children. As soon as they entered the stage, they saw the audience stand up and clap and cheer excitedly. "Oh my god! I really can not believe my eyes. The whole Moretti family together on my stage!!", the audiences screamed in happiness at the host's words. Once again, just like in the airport, Myla saw a group of girls holding up sign boards with Enzo's shirtless photos and captions on them.

'ENZO! WE LOVE YOU'

'WILL TRADE MY SOUL FOR A SELFIE WITH YOU!'

'YOU'RE SO HOT, EVEN THE SUN NEEDS SUNSCREEN!'

Some boards even had pick-up lines on them. She looked around to see a few for herself.

'SENDING ALL MY LOVE TO MY QUEEN!'

'MY FOREVER CELEBRITY CRUSH!!!!!'

'HAVE MERCY, YOU'RE KILLING ME WITH THOSE LOOKS!'

She smiled at how many people were waving at her and waved back making them scream louder. It took the whole team a good five minutes to calm the crowd down and in the mean time, they settled down in their seats.
