Sandhya was sitting alone , still waiting for the family to come it's been an hour and no sign of them , after a long wait they finally decided to show up

There were two people missing her grandfather and her husband

''hello sister how are you'' Shreya said as soon as she saw Sandhya

''good I am fine , how are you'' Sandhya replied in a small voice

''hello mother in law , hello father in law '' she said going toward them but they just ignored her and proceeded to take a seat , Sandhya was hurt by their action no matter the feelings they can atleast acknowledge her , seeing her sister miserable like this Shreya internally smiled linking her arms with Rohan she asked ''sister where is jiju , I don't see him''

Sandhya was at loss of word because she knew that he won't be coming tonight and she can't make up some lie about meeting or work because his father and Rohan will know about this swallowing a lump in her throat she decided to lie

'' I didn't informed him about this'' she said her voice loud and clear

''didn't informed him what do you mean , you were supposed to be here together '' disbelief crossed her mother's face

''no I came here alone because it is only fair for me to share his burden , I too married him why he should face everything alone'' Sandhya said , what she said was true despite their fight she was not ready to paint her husband in a bad light

''you wasted our time by calling us here , we are not free like you '' Tarun her brother said displeasure clearly showing on his face

''I only invited you as a part of family , I don't even have anything to say to you'' Sandhya had the same displeasure on her face

''you really have the nerve to call us and insult us here , I know you married my brother to get revenge on me , you are so pathetic'' Rohan said looking at her

''umm sister please don't be mad , me and Rohan love each other , please give us your blessing'' Shreya said linking her arms with Rohan's

''no Shreya you don't need to apologize'' Rohan put a hand around her shoulder , rolling her eyes Sandhya took this opportunity to clear something ''listen Rohan I have no feelings for you I never did , I am now married to your brother Satvik not because of some revenge because there is no one like him , he is the only one who protects me even it means destroying himself'' her nostrils were flaring with anger , stunned by her response Rohan could not form a proper reply

''enough everyone , if your point was to come here alone and not apologize then why did you called us here'' her mother in law said

''well I didn't wanted to at all but you were the one complaining about us not visiting you''

''you shameless girl you married into our family just for money , you see we will not give a single penny to both of you'' her MIL spat in anger

'' I think we should leave now , but remember I dot not welcome you in our family you will always be an outsider to us'' saying this her father in law left with his family , giving her a last look her brother also went form there , only three people were left her mother , father and her

''you should have died instead of showing us this day'' now her father said

''yeah it would have been nice if you all have killed me , at least then I don't have to see all your faces , you think I don't know that you were trying to marry me off to Suraj Aujha , I never seen a coward like you'' her face was all red from anger , it was getting to much for her to handle , 'slap' her mother slapped her with full force

''how dare you call us that , and how do you know about that '' still not satisfied her mother again wanted to slap her again but her father caught her hands

''enough Seema let her be , her husband doesn't have a value in his own house you think he will able to keep her happy''

Banging her hands on the table she said ''don't you dare talk about my husband like that I don't care about his situation in the family , all I care about is him , it is only him for me and no one else'' what she said was true , Satvik had become someone irreplacable in her life , scoffing a bit they both left from there.

Sandhya slumped down in her chair tears streaming down her face , crying over the fact that no one wants her.
