SANDHYA POV
After our talk at the garden everything is been going really well , it’s peace between us , he now even talks to me and I am happy for now , when we talked in the garden and when he told me about his emotions , I was on the verge of crying what did he go through to be miserable like that
Anyways today is the weekend and I am at home all day and surprisingly Satvik also took a leave today
I made a plan for us to watch a movie together , but now lets enjoy today’s morning tea in the garden , from the time I came here I decided to tend to this garden , growing many colourful flowers , I was enjoying the cool breeze when I heard him coming towards me ‘’morning’’ taking the newspaper he settled in front in me a small smile was playing on his lips , and I smiled seeing that , it’s better than his stoic face , sipping his coffee he to was admiring the garden , this was broken by his phone ringing which he declined , he is doing the same for some time when we are together he would not take any calls , his phone again ranged which he declined again , this was the third time his phone ranged and he was on the verge of throwing it ‘’ take it , it might be urgent’’
Swallowing his frustration he spoke on the phone ‘’speak’’
‘’what the hell Sameer’’ he said standing up , from his tone it seemed like something was wrong , ending the call he ran his hands on his hair
‘’what happened is everything alright’’ I asked cautiously ,
‘’ahh there in an emergency ‘’ his voice came out in a slight panic
‘’what kind of emergency’’ I asked putting down my teacup , coming towards me he knelt down in front of me
‘’it may sound very absurd to you and it may as well be confusing but please listen , Sameer is one of my subordinate , he told me that my important client from Italy is giving me a visit in like 4 hours from now , no one knows about this beside you’’ okay I am confused but I understood this much that whatever he is doing is a secret form his family and everyone
‘’okay I understand but this client why is he coming unannounced’’ I asked in doubt
‘’well the client’s son , he pulled this stunt on me as a revenge of something I did in the past and now their family of three wishes to stay at our home for two days’’ I frowned stay here it’s unusual for a business client to make that request
Seeing my frown he answered my unspoken question ‘’I know them from the time when I did my college there , they are someone whom I respect very much’’
He definitely cares about them and I can’t wait to meet them ‘’there is no problem , so why panic’’
‘’no you don’t know I can’t trust my staff here , there may be a spy among them ‘’ I understand it the house staff is hired based on their ability to work efficiently and if someone approaches them later to spy then it is difficult to catch them as we can’t keep an eye on them all the time
Tapping my finger on the table an idea formed in my mind ‘’Satvik is there someone here whom you trust’’
‘’no I didn’t give much thought to it , as this kind of situation never occurred it’s the first’’
‘’umm do you trust your men’’ I asked him
‘’yes I do trust them each and everyone of them’’ he replied good everything solved now ‘’call Sameer I want to talk to him’’ , he gave me a really confusing look ‘’I am trying to help now quick do it’’ nodding his head he put the speaker
The call was picked up on the first ring ‘’hello sir’’ , ‘’hello Sameer I am Sandhya your boss wife’’ silence was there for a few seconds before he screamed ‘’ oh my god witch she is a witch she enchanted sir into giving her his phone , tell me where is my boss’’
Ehh is this Sameer mad or what , cutting him off Satvik said ‘’shutup Sameer , she is my wife , how dare you talk to her like that , your salary for this month is gone , now apologize’’ I think I shocked him to know that his boss is married , collecting himself he apologised
‘’ I am sorry ma’am , please forgive me’’ laughing a bit I replied ‘’no worries Sameer , I need you to do something can you bring some men over here as fast as you can’’ , ‘’also you also come here’’ Satvik said the last part , not wanting to get into more trouble Sameer said a quick okay and ended the call
‘’why do you need them here’’ Satvik said tailing behind me as I went inside
‘’you’ll see’’ I said turning my head towards him
Clapping my hands to get the staff attention I said ‘’everyone listen you all need to go now and no need to come for two days , my grandfather is coming and he doesn’t like many people around him so go now’’ nodding all their heads they left one by one
Sorry grandpa but I had to do it , ‘’why did you lied’’ Satvik asked me
‘’well it was the only way to avoid any suspicion , it is well known my grandfather don’t like strangers around him and the people working for him are the ones who are with him for a very long time , so if anyone is a spy they won’t get anything out of it’’ he stood there with a slightly open mouth
‘’I can’t believe my wife is so smart’’ he said smiling at me
