ROHAN POV

Things have been in disarray for the past few days , with the big blow of investment being taken out , I had not got a time to rest properly , the continuous calls from the media , the shareholders and I don't even know who leaked it to media and another shocking thing Shreya's father ventured into the mafia world and on top of that my brother knows the head of the mafia personally , how did it happened and how did he get those evidences against us , Satvik was someone whom I can't understand , he showed no interest in business always saying yes to father's demand , the only time he done something shocking was probably getting married that to Sandhya what a choice.

''sir Satvik sir is here'' my assistant told me , picking up my file I headed towards the conference room where I saw my brother sitting casually on the chair , well he never looked interested in business but this is an urgent shareholder meeting so he had to come to the main office , seeing me he just nodded his head and went back to his phone again , quickly the shareholders started coming in and voiced out their displeasure about the recent incidents

''but why did Silver and co decided to take back our investment'' the silver and co is a big name in the construction and interior field no one can match them the are the ones who build the Hanging gardens , it's a chain world class hotel known for their unique interiors design normally hotels like this offer VVIP membership to the rich but the owner of this particular chain don't do that there are very few people with their membership and it's difficult even for us to make a reservation , that's how grand they are but it's owner is not known to this date , and we decide to partner with Silver and co to develop a new hotel but they pulled out of it at the last moment , also they denied to provide us with the materials

''now what should we do Rohan say something'' everyone's eyes were on me , I was unable to give them an answer

''I think we should drop it'' my brother said playing with the paper weight , every one became quiet when he spoke ''from the very start we were at the loosing end of the deal with us going first time into the hotel industry with hanging gardens as our competitor , the chances of us gaining a huge profit was less , it might took us years to even collect the cost that was spent on it''

His words sunk in and everybody understood that he was right , we all were so blinded by the end goal which we may not reach , that we agreed to it , sometime I am shocked with his capabilities how is it that he is not interested in work at all.

Discussing the other matters the meeting came to an end , as we were leaving I saw Sandhya in the office strange why did she come here , Satvik went towards her and asked ''why are you here''

''oh sorry for that today I wanted to give you lunch and went to your office but they said you were here , so I took it here , did I made a mistake'' she said being unsure looking here and there , taking the lunch from her hand Satvik assured her ''no nothing is wrong in it , come lets go have lunch'' he took her to the spare office , seeing this I felt an emptiness inside my chest though he may not show it but I can tell Satvik was happy to see her and same goes for her , is she sending lunch everyday , I don't know why I did that but I found myself standing in front of the office where they were having lunch

Sandhya took out everything she made filling the space with delicious smell and served Satvik's plate , I also longed for this kind of thing in my life my mother and Shreya did not cook not even once , and seeing him having a home cooked meal didn't settled with me

''please come home early , today I am making my favourite dish and I can't wait for any longer to devour it'' she said laughing out loud does this mean apart from making lunch , they also have dinner together and she waits for him , someone tapped my shoulder ''sir your lunch'' usually I would eat it in my office but today I decide otherwise , ''I will eat in this office'' I instructed the staff , they quickly set the lunch ,

''don't mind me please continue'' I said as Sandhya was looking at me , she didn't even acknowledge and continued talking to Satvik ''you know this movie it is so good , so basically what happens is there is a group of 4 people---'' she went on to narrate the story of a random movie I never seen Satvik listening to anyone this patiently , it was a very silly conversation , it was not even a conversation as only Sandhya was speaking , but they radiated happiness , something I have been missing for sometime , I don't know but seeing Sandhya I feel like I have lost something precious , I guess I was staring at her for to long because I was met with Satvik murderous glare , fearing him I went back to my meal

After Sandhya left Satvik put a hand on my shoulders ''next time I see you looking at her for more than five seconds , you might give our mother the grief of loosing her dear younger son , understand'' making this threat he went behind her , leaving me shit scared man his eyes assured me that he will really kill me.
