CHAPTER 13

SANDHYA POV

Well surprise currently I am in the room looking at the precious expression of Satvik because it's currently 5 a.m. and I am already ready by taking a shower last night I figured that I was not really making any efforts , I was just finding an opportunity to talk to him and If I really want to make this marriage work then I have to do something like waking up this early to catch him before he slips away to go to his office so that explains why I am this early today

Laughing a bit at his expression I said ''well you should get ready to go to office I will make breakfast''

Leaving him all puzzled I went into the kitchen and instructed the chef that I will be doing all the cooking from now on since I loved cooking and after opening restaurant my hands were really trained well to cook nice and fast and in no time I was finished with making a breakfast

As the I was finished setting up the table Satvik came down clearing his throat to get my attention he settled himself on the head chair with me sitting beside him we ate in silence until I broke it ''here put you number in it''

He looked puzzled seeing me offering him my phone ''for what '' he asked

''oh gosh you are my husband now if I need you or want to inform you about something then what I am gonna do write a letter and then send it to you'' he was speechless for a moment nodding his head he punched his number on my phone , we finished our breakfast at the same time , he picked up his bag to go but I stopped him and said '' from today I am going to restaurant , oh and don't order anything at lunch because I am going to send you lunch , drive safe'' still for a moment he nodded his head and quickly went from there , since it was still early to open the restaurant I decided to read some books , yes that is right I am going to go to my work from today onwards

''didi finally you came we were so worried about you'' Suresh Kaka said to me he is one of the restaurant staff , circling me they all started questioning that what I was doing these past days and when I told them that I was married it didn't set well with them it took a lot of convincing that I am fine and everything is fine going back to their respective works we all got busy as the crowd started coming in

When I looked at the clock it was already 1 in the afternoon leaving all my work the first thing I did was cook lunch for Satvik I decided to make paneer , dal tadka , roti and kheer cooking all of it I carefully packed it and called him to inform the same on the second ring he picked up the call and waited for me to speak ''I have packed your lunch send someone here so they could take it''

I heard him taking a frustrated breath and muttering something like really stubborn but whatever ''see if you are not going to send someone then I will come to your office to deliver it myself'' I threatened him

''okay fine I will send someone'' and with that he cut the call really rude.

After some time I saw a man entering the restaurant wearing a suit looking professional coming in my direction he greeted me ''good afternoon ma'am''

He must be someone from the office ''hello did Satvik sent you''

''uhh yes but how did you know that'' he asked ''well you address me as ma'am as if I am your boss wife which I am, so I guessed it'' I replied laughing a bit , he was slightly embarrassed I guess because his ears turned a little pink saving him from further awkwardness I gave him the lunch and bid him a goodbye , but remembering something I stopped him '' umm wait''

''yes ma'am'' he asked turning around

''is there something going in the company like there is lot of work or some big project coming up''

He thought for a second before replying ''no ma'am recently the main company is going to close the deal with our client Mr. Smith in about a month, oh but I don't know why but sir suddenly started working on the project which was to take place in 2 years from now and he have to give the presentation for it at the closing of the deal''

''oh thanks , you can go now'' his father is really cold I think he did this to put Satvik in a spot because of our sudden marriage , that explains the reason why he is so busy these days , even if he wasn't busy with this project he would still find work in order to avoid me

Life really give you surprises like no one else can give how in a span of few days I got married , that to with the least expected person , when I agreed with the fact that my family is never going to provide me with love , I promised myself that one day I will create a loving family of my own and I want to fulfil that promise , I may not love Satvik now , but maybe 4 or 5 years from now when we will be comfortable enough with each other presence in our lives , maybe then he will tell me that he wishes our relationship to take on an another level , I know that itself will take time , I don't care if we reach the destination called love but with him giving me a hand, this journey may become a beautiful part of our lives.

Clocking out for today I handed over the restaurant to the staff and came out, I started my car and drove towards my new home , dude literally his house or my new home is so far away It takes me an hour to reach there usually all the restaurant are opened till 9 in the night and before marriage I would be there till the time of closing many times I would eat my dinner here only and my apartment was also near but now I have to go make dinner and reaching home itself takes time.
