Chapter 6: The Ultimate Vs The Rowdy

Back at Professor Utonium's lab, Vader and the Professor were analyzing the piece Green Rocket recovered from his and the girls fight with Mojo Jojo. "Interesting, the dark aura that was surrounding Mojo and his machine wasn't just giving him a boost in power, but also it was draining something from Mojo," Vader finally stated. "So I was right, Midnight did steal something from Mojo," Green Rocket grinned with his arms crossed. "But what did he steal?" Momoko asked. "And how do you know it was Midnight?" Kaoru added. "I'd recognize that dark aura anywhere, it's Midnight's alright and as for your question Momoko, he probably took Mojo's brain power. It's only thing worth stealing," Green Rocket affirmed. "That's so wrong! Using poor Mojo as a battery and then taking something that doesn't belong to him. That's so unfair!" Miyako cried. "Well Pigtails, that's Midnight for ya, he doesn't exactly play fair." Green Rocket grumbled.

Then Miyako noticed something out the corner of her eye, she looks out the window to see a figure on the hill standing there looking into the lab. Upon closer inspection she realized it was Nack, but before she could wave to say hi, he darted off into the distance. Miyako then runs out of the lab to go after him. "Where is she off to in hurry?" Green Rocket pondered as the doors to the lab closed. "I don't know, let's find out!" Momoko began as she ran after her.

In the city, Nack is walking down the street with both hands in his jacket, "I don't know what that faker sees in this place", Nack grunted in his head, then he looks up to see a mother and her child heading into a store with smiles on their faces, Nack just grunted in annoyance and continued walking, "There's nothing special here, it's just another sad excuse for a universe," he continued in his thoughts.

However a familiar voice broke his thoughts, "Nack!" Nack turns around to see Miyako running towards him, "There you are! I saw you on the hill looking at us through the lab's window, and I was wondering why. Do you want to help us defeat Midnight?" Miyako persisted as was she catching her breath. However Nack just gave her a cold stare and then replied, "What I was doing on the hill is none of your concern, and as I have told you, your friends, and Green Rocket, I have no interest in helping the mess Green Rocket is trying to clean up." Nack begins to walk off but stops when Miyako says, "Then what about the promise you say your keeping?!" Nack turns around and is about to speak but Miyako continues, "I may not know what or who the promise pertains to, but you seem sincere on keeping it, doesn't that matter to you?" "Why do you want to get to know me even though I have given no reason for you to do so?" Nack questioned. "Because that's what friends do!" Miyako cheerfully answered.

Then as Nack stared at the blonde haired girl for a moment, a flashback hit Nack of which he sees a girl with wavy shoulder-length blonde hair, dark blue eyes, pink lips and pale peach skin and wore a dark blue puffy-sleeved t-shirt with light blue trims, a light blue, knee-length skirt, and a dark blue hairband and slippers lying on the floor barely breathing. "Nack...promise me you will protect the people of Earth and let them live happy lives," the girl stated, "Maria!" Nack shouts in his mind as the flashback ends and begins to cry.

"Oh no! I didn't mean to make you sad! I'm so sorry!" Miyako fretted. "Oh, it's ok you didn't make me sad, it's just you reminded me of an old friend. That's all," Nack comforted Miyako, "Your right, I did make a promise. A promise I intend to keep!" Nack continued, Miyako simply gave Nack a kind smile and giggled with a slight laughter. Nack also gave a slight smile until a voice from behind cut in.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here." Both Nack and Miyako turn to see three boys in windbreaker jackets, pants with zipper stripes across the thigh, skate shoes and fingerless gloves on their hands.

The orange haired boy has dark red eyes and wears a red and black baseball cap that faces backwards and matches his outfit. His hair is in a spiky mullet that goes down to his neck and a tuft of it pokes out the back of the baseball cap. On his right cheek is a Band-Aid across his jaw line.
