Chapter 7: Ruff Recharge

A couple of days later, The RowdyRuff Boys Z slouch slowly back into the city. Their outfits drenched from a pond they had landed in when Nack sent them flying and the rainstorms over the past couple of days. "Man, this stinks! My windbreaker is soaked!" Boomer whined as he was ringing out the water from his attire. "I know! We have to find that quilled haired freak and pay him back for this! No one makes fun of the RowdyRuff Boys Z and gets away with it!" Brick agreed flapping his hat dry of any water. "Hey guys, look over there, doesn't that guy look like the one that kicked our butts?" Butch asked as he pointed to Green Rocket walking down the street sipping on a drink.

"Man! Momoko wasn't kidding, this smoothie is awesome!" Green Rocket exclaimed, but as he was about to take another sip, a voice interrupted him, "Hey you! Ya you!" Green Rocket looks to see Brick, Boomer, and Butch standing right in front of him and at first gives a long stare before saying, "Um... who are you guys exactly?" he asks tilting his head to the left a slight bit. The boys just stood in shock and disbelief, "You serious? We're the RowdyRuff Boys Z! Butch! Boomer! And me Brick!" The three boys boasted. "Oh! So, you're the guys that Nack gave a beating to," Green Rocket chuckled.

"So that's the guys name huh? Well then, if you can tell us where he is, then we might not beat you up instead," Brick snickers. "Sorry, but I don't know where that faker is, and even if I did I wouldn't tell ya. Besides, you wouldn't last five minutes against him, much less me," Green Rocket mocked with a cocky smile on his face as he threw the smoothie in a nearby trashcan. "Why you little-" Brick raged as he tries to grab Green Rocket, but he misses and falls face flat on the floor as Green Rocket dodges jumping up to a roof a nearby building.

"Heh, if you want me, you gonna have to catch me!" Green Rocket gloated as he ran off into the city. "Argh! Come on guys, let's get him!!" Brick called to Boomer and Butch as he got back up and began chasing Green Rocket. Butch and Boomer followed Brick as they chased Green Rocket throughout the narrow alleyways of New Townsville until they all arrived at a alley next to a construction site with a massive hole in it.

"Where did he go?" Brick pondered as he, Butch, and Boomer entered the alley. "I don't see him anywhere!" Boomer exclaimed as he searched around. "Really? This is the best you can offer? I was hoping for a challenge, no wonder Nack whopped you guys so easily!" Green Rocket snickered with a smile while sitting on top of a big industrial trashcan. He then jumps down and rushes Brick, uppercutting him in the stomach causing him to fall down. Green Rocket then moves behind Boomer and Butch so fast that the two shocked boys didn't react until he grabbed them by the necks of their windbreakers and smashed them into each other, and throws them into Brick causing the three boys to roll into the hole at the construction site. "Ugh, What happened? Huh?! Wait! Where are we?!" Brick asked as he woke up in the hole.

"Think of this as your time out corner for the time being," Green Rocket's voice teased from above. "Hey! Let us out!" Brick yelled as he looks up at Green Rocket. "Ya! We don't need a time out!" Boomer shouted, "Exactly we're big boys! We ain't toddlers!" Butch remarked. "That depends, are you going to be good and not be bad if I let you out?" Green Rocket questioned. "Fat chance! We are still going kick yours and that other quilled haired freaks butt for disrespecting us!" Brick snapped back. "Well then, you give me no choice but to leave you down there until you've changed your mind, adios!" Green Rocket stated as he waved goodbye and then boosted off.

Later that night the boys are still trying to figure way out of the hole. "Man this sucks! Beaten by quilled haired freaks twice!" Boomer groaned, "And I'm hungry!" He added as he stomach rumbled. "Shut up Boomer! We're all hungry and all because of those two guys, Green Rocket and Nack!" Brick grunted as he sat down on the dry dirt with his head hung low. "Well If someone didn't pick a fight with them, we wouldn't be in this situation," Butch remarked looking up into the sky with both hands on the back of his head. "Spare me the lecture Butch! When we get out of here, both Green Rocket and Nack are going to pay!" Brick swore compacting his left hand into a fist. Just then a sinister voice cut in from the darkness, "You boys want to try to take down Nack and Green Rocket?" The boys look up to see Midnight Jon staring at them from the top of the hole, "I can help with that," he said with a twisted smile on his face.
