"When I get through with you, there won't be an 'on the way back'!" Midnight mocked. "Oh yeah? We'll see about that!" Green Rocket yells as he exits out of the robot and lunges at Midnight but Midnight dodges the attack and disappears. Re appearing at the meteor-like object, laughing evilly he states, "Nice try, but you're too late!" He then thrusts his left hand into the meteor-like object and begins absorbing its power as a black and white aura enveloped his body. "This ain't good," Green Rocket remarked as Midnight removed his hand from the rock and the aura around him stabilizes and forms a free-flowing stream around his body. "At last, Ultimate Power is mine!!!" Midnight shouted with joy.
"Not on my watch! Green Rocket exclaims as he revs up for a spin attack and then launches at Midnight, however he just stops the attack with his right hand and blasts him back at the rest of the group. Green Rocket smashes into Dynamo Z going right through it creating a massive hole in the middle of the robot. This causes to the robot to shake a little as Blossom notices a flashing red light on one of the dashboards of the cockpit. Realizing what it means she calls out to Nack, Bubbles, and Buttercup, "We need to get out of here! Its gonna blow!" She then bolts out of the robot as the three heroes follow her. The robot then lights up and explodes into scrap metal as Blossom, Buttercup, Bubbles, and Nack get clear of the wreckage. "Aw... Poor Dynamo Z!" Bubbles frowned as the group looked at the scattered wreckage of the robot.
"The Professor and Ken aren't gonna like this," Buttercup remarks. "I just hope Green Rocket is okay," Blossom mentions. "Eh, knowing him, he'll be fine. After all he's survived worse," Nack comforts Blossom. The group then turns their attention towards Midnight Jon who is staring at them with crooked smile on his face. "So, who shall be next?" He snickered. "I will! I'll avenge Green Rocket!" Blossom shouted launching her yo-yo at Midnight, who conjures a giant black hand catching it, which then shatters the yo-yo into tiny pieces. "What the-" Blossom begins but is attacked by dark black lightning sending her flying into a rock shattering it. "Blossom! Oh, now your gonna get it buddy!" Buttercup yells as she and Bubbles charge at Midnight. Bubbles launches a string of bubbles from her scepter while Buttercup goes in with a strike from her hammer, however Midnight uses the black hand he conjured to send black ice to pop all the bubbles as well as attempt to hit Bubbles with it. She dodges the ice but is punched by the hand sending her flying and also grabs her scepter snapping it in half. He then conjures a second black hand and blocks Buttercup's hammer strike and smacks her into some nearby asteroids. Then the second hand grabs the hammer breaking the head of it into small pieces and snapping the handle right off. "Bubbles!" Nack shouted as he leaped to catch her and braced their landing on the asteroid that Buttercup landed on. "Are you two alright?" Nack questions. "Ya we're fine, just a bit bruised that's all," Buttercup replies as she is scratching her head.
Nack nods and then teleports away and then reappears a few moments later with Blossom in his arms. "N...Na...Nack?" Blossom breathes as Nack sets her down next to Bubbles and Buttercup, "Yes Blossom, its me," Nack replies. Blossom slightly smiles but then yells, "Watch out! Behind you!" Nack turns to see Midnight firing a beam of dark black energy right at them, Nack manages to raise an energy shield to block the attack in time. However, the attack left a crack in the shield, Midnight begins to snicker, "One more blast should do it and then there will be no one left to stand in my way," He boasts as he stretches out his hand for another attack and launches another blast at Nack and the girls who brace for the incoming shot. Smoke engulfs the area as the shot appears to hit the shield. Midnight starts to laugh manically, "ha ha ha! I did it! I have won! Now I can-" However he stops dead when he sees that his shot didn't even hit the shield. Instead, it was blocked by Green Rocket who now has crimson red eyes and his hair and jacket are now gold instead of light brown hair and a red jacket and has a golden glow surrounding his body. His quills are now pointing upwards as well.
