I owe you one

And finally, the college day ended. I took a deep breath, feeling a strange mix of relief and exhaustion wash over me. As I made my way toward the exit, I had to pass by the staff room. Just as I was about to walk by, I heard someone call my name.

"Yuri, right?" Miss Kumi's voice was gentle but firm.

I turned around to face her. "Yes, ma'am?"

"Please take these papers to the president's room, and if you find your classmate Yohan, give them to him," she requested kindly, handing me a stack of documents.

There was a softness in her tone that made it impossible for me to refuse. "Okay, ma'am," I agreed, even though the last thing I wanted to do was run errands after a long day.

Although I didn't want to go anywhere, I couldn't say no to Miss Kumi.

When I reached the president's room, I was greeted by the sight of chaos-papers were scattered everywhere, fluttering around the room as the wind blew in through an open window. And there was Yohan, frantically trying to gather the scattered sheets.

For a moment, I couldn't help but think how silly he looked, scrambling to catch the papers without first closing the window. I sighed inwardly, wondering how someone so seemingly perfect could overlook something so obvious.

Without a word, I walked over and closed the window, effectively stopping the whirlwind of paper.

Just as I closed the window and turned around, I was startled to find Yohan standing right in front of me, so close that I could feel his presence. He wore a warm smile on his face, and his calm voice broke the silence.

"Thank you," he said, his gaze meeting mine.

I nodded, quickly handing him the papers. "Miss Kumi told me to give these to you."

"Oh... thank you," he replied, taking the papers from my hand. "I actually told Miss Kumi that I was going to come to her to pick these up."

As he spoke, a quiet settled over the room. I wasn't sure what to say next, and Yohan seemed engrossed in flipping through the pages, checking their contents.

I figured my task was done, so I turned to leave. Just as I reached the door, I heard his voice again.

"Hey! What's your name?"

"Yuri," I answered, glancing back at him.

"Thanks for the papers, Yuri. These are important, so let me treat you to something nice for your help," he offered, his tone sincere.

"No, it's... really not that..." I began, feeling a bit flustered.

Yoonsoo enter ( her boss)

As Yohan and yoonsoo as Yohan calls him, exchange words, I quietly step back, unsure of my place in this conversation. It's evident that they know each other well, and the way they speak shows a familiarity that I can only observe from the sidelines.

I didn't expect to see Mr. Park here. He's always been a bit of a mystery in our class , serious, focused, and always distant. Seeing him interact so casually with Yohan is a side of him I've never witnessed before.

Yohan glances at me as if suddenly remembering I'm still here. "Yuri, this is yoonsoo, my... well, I guess you could say my right-hand man," Yohan says with a slight chuckle. Yoonsoo turns to me, giving a polite nod, though his expression remains as serious as ever.

I awkwardly return the gesture, unsure of what else to do. The room, once filled with the noise of scattered papers, now feels heavy with an unspoken tension, not between them, but within me.

After a moment, Yohan turns back to yoonsoo, discussing something about the papers, but I can barely concentrate on their words. All I can think about is getting out of there as quickly as possible.

Just as I think I might be able to slip away unnoticed, Yohan calls out, "Yuri, thanks again for your help today. I owe you one."

I nod quickly, mumbling something about it not being a problem, and finally make my escape, leaving the two of them to their business. As I walk down the hallway, I can't shake the feeling that, despite Yohan's kindness, I've stepped into a world that doesn't belong to me.
