Chapter 9: A helping hand and possibly a new protector!

Summary: ZGDX takes the weekend off and a still, certain Midlaner but soon going to be coach does not give his Captain a choice and drags the man off for the weekend.

Author's Note: This chapter is Short but it's the way the Muse had wanted it to be. The Muse is still going on with the major feels and tear jerking moment! Seriously! If you tend to cry easily?! Have some tissues ready for yourselves!

Chapter Eight

"Where is Tong Yao?" frowned Sicheng as he came down the stairs and looked at the others before his eyes locked onto Rui as he cleared his throat.

"She asked for a couple days off and since she has been under a lot of stress lately with everything that has happened, I gave her permission. She is spending the weekend with her best friend and will be back on Monday." nodded Rui-ge as he glanced back down to his clipboard not seeing the darkened eyes of the Captain but a certain older Mid did, causing the man to stand and place a hand on his arm.

"That's a splendid idea. Why don't we all take the weekend off." nodded Ming as the others but Lao K cheered as the Jungler raised his eyebrow at him. He nodded to the man as he nodded back to him before he moved, grabbing their Captain's elbow and pulled the man from the room.

"Mao-Mao, let's binge watch some shows and eat." nodded Lao K and smiled as his boyfriend cheered with a grin on his face as Pang offered to buy food for them all.

"Spill now." ordered Ming with a frown to his friend and was concerned as he noted the pain in the other man's eyes. He crossed his arms over his chest and gave a pointed look to him which caused the younger man to grimace before telling him everything that had gone down between him and Yao. He damn near groaned as he squeezed his eyes shut at the arrogance of his idiot friend but he knew it was not completely his fault considering the man did not understand.

"I was trying to get her to understand that it did not bother me nor matter. That children were not the be all or end all of a relationship but I guess I sort of fucked that up." Sicheng swore as he was for once, since he had stopped years ago, was wishing for a goddamn cigarette.

"Your an idiot and no, you did not fuck it up as you just said. You just don't understand how difficult it is for her because you're a guy nor do you know anyone but her that has this condition. So, again you do not know how difficult it is for her." remarked Ming as he stressed out for her part before he frowned as he was seriously thinking of how to help his friend as the man looked lost for once since he had met the man before an idea came to him causing him to nod his head. "I need to make a call. You need to go pack a bag for the weekend. So go do it now and do not argue with me, Lu Si Cheng." he commanded, not giving the man an inch as he looked startled before he frowned and nodded his head as he jabbed his thumb towards the base's door.

"Xiexie (thank you), Ming for being my friend." muttered Sicheng as he sighed listening to the older man as he gave him a small smile with a nod of his head as he walked back into the base.
