Author's Note: Soo some might need tissues, the Muse is at it again but for a good reason as they are tired of our girl being in pain every month!

Disclaimer: The Muse would like to remind everyone we do not own FIYS nor the beloved characters nor any dialogue from either the show nor the book...the Muse is very sad and continues to sulk at this reminder.

Chapter Sixteen

"You made it, please come in. I have tea and some snacks prepared." smiled Sara softly as she opened the door and eyed Tong Yao before with a gentle look on her face.

"Ming Shen, said you had some things to discuss with me? Is everything okay?" frowned Yao with a curious but concerned look on her face as she followed the woman to a small terrace of the Condo she apparently owned and was staying at.

"Nothing is wrong. Thank you for asking though, please sit." she nodded her head to the young female and eyed as they both sat down. She waited a few moments as they prepared the tea their own ways and was amused as the female seemed to take hers like Cheng did, with little to no sugar, even though that boy had a sweet tooth. "I could tell you had some questions that you have been wanting to ask me since you met me in person." commented Sara in a soft tone as she stared at the female as she paused before nodding her head.

Yao bit her bottom as she shifted some staring into her tea as so many thoughts and questions ran through her head...but there was one she wanted...really needed to be answered. "Does...does it ever get easier?" she asked in a low soft tone as she slowly looked up at the woman sitting beside her and eyed with a troubled look as she looked contemplative.

"With time it can. Though there are still times that it affects me greatly, emotionally though since I have had a hysterectomy done. What helped me? Learning to lean on those closest with me, those that actually cared for me, helped me. Ming's father is my biggest fan, support and my greatest love. I learned it was okay to share my fears, my pain and everything that was going on with me, with that man...though it took quite a bit for me to do so. I would encourage you to try for yourself? In leaning on those around you, dear one because sometimes the emotional pain of having our condition? Is more hellish for us than the physical pain." spoke Sara in a soothing soft tone as she never once removed her gentle gray eyes from the young woman before her as pain flashed over her face.

"When...when I was first diagnosed...it seemed like everyone looked at me differently. Like I was defective or something...like not whole. My mother and father though have gotten better, they still do not look at me like they used to. They think I am broken and that I need to be either handled with care or that I need to be fixed somehow." blurted out Yao with pain and some bitterness in her tone as she looked down to her tea.

"People will do as such with things they do not understand. Having this condition does not mean you are broken nor are you defective. In fact I would say personally from experience, it makes you stronger, wiser and more mature to an extent. Because it forces you to grow up faster than you had wanted or needed to. It forces us to realize life is fleeting and happiness can be short-lived along with forcing us to realize who really cares about us." spoke Sara with a soft but steel tone as she met the hurting female's eyes and softened with her heart clenching as she saw the raw pain, hurt and grief in her dark chocolate colored eyes. Her eyes softened as she noted the tears filling said eyes of the young female.
