"Psst, Anwen." A voice whispered.

Anwen?

I sighed and opened my eyes. "What's up?"

Leo smiled down at me, his curly hair was slightly frizzy and his nose was pink from the wind. "Dinner time."

"Oh." I muttered, rubbing my eyes.

I glanced around. Hoots was stood a few paces away from Leo, staring at the sky.

"Everything alright over there?" I called to the owl.

He turned. Yes. Just thinking.

I nodded slightly. "You want to come to dinner or...?"

No, I should reconvene with the others. Just... remember, once you've crossed the Mediterranean it will be harder for me to answer you. It would be best to call on others.

Hoots spread his wings and crouched slightly. Be careful. He took off.

I frowned, watching him fly away until he was just a pinprick on the horizon. "Why would he say be careful?"

Leo shrugged. "Probably just showing he cares, you know?"

"But he does that by bringing me stuff he finds, mainly plants or pretty rocks, he never says things like that unless it's a warning."

Leo offered me a hand up. "I wouldn't worry about it too much. As long as you don't go off on your own again, we should be fine."

I took his hand and hauled myself up nearly pulling him over. "Alrighty." I said. "Time for dinner then."

I dragged him towards the mess hall and pushed the door open. I gaped. "No one's in here. Do they not care for food anymore? Percy at least should be here."

Leo winced. "Well, about that..."

I turned to him. "What?"

"We missed dinner. You were asleep and you literally slept through the dinner bell. Plus, you looked so peaceful, what was I supposed to do?"

"I missed dinner?" I gaped. "Oh my gods. Leo that goes against everything I stand for."

Leo sighed. "Anwen, we'll eat now."

"But I missed dinner?" I repeated, outraged.

"Oh my gods." Leo slapped a hand to his forehead. "Mariposa, just grab some mini cheddars and that cheese stuff you like, I've got a surprise instead."

"Surprise?" I asked. "What's the surprise?"

Leo stared at me. "What goes on in your brain?" He asked.

"Best ways to beat Leo for the title of greatest annoy-er." I grinned, skipping towards my mini cheddar cupboard.

Leo gasped behind me. "You can't take that from me! Do you realise how hard I had to work to earn that from Jason?"

"Well, I spent years earning it from Percy, Annabeth and Grover. Somehow, I still haven't swayed Juniper though... Oh and Katie! So, technically I'm already winning."

"This is ridiculous." Leo grumbled. "Just come with me."

I followed him back down the hall until we reached my room.

I frowned. "My surprise is in my own room?"

"Where else would it be?"

"That's a good question." I opened my door and looked around. "Everything's the same." I said, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, on the outside it looks like that." Leo walked over to where I'd set up my Switch with a small TV. He turned on the Switch.

The TV lit up. Then I noticed an extra game slot had been filled.
