Part 12

"Haha was that an awesome job or what" Natsu said smiling as the group was walking home, "well the client sure seemed to think so" Happy said sitting on Jasmine's shoulder, "face it you guys are lucky that I decided to come along" Gray said with his hands in his pockets, "we're lucky you begged to come with us, how do you figure" Natsu said to him, "because you were as helpful as one of Erza's suitcases" Gray argued back making them butt heads with each other, "enough boys, Gray will you please get dressed" Erza said pushing them apart, "why does this keep happening!" Gray panicked looking down to see he was only in his underwear, "you know, you and Gray don't seem to fight anymore, has something happened?" Lucy whispered over to Jasmine, but she wasn't listening, instead she was looking at the people who were whispering to each other and looking at the group, "somethings wrong" Jasmine said, making the boys and Erza walk over, "what's wrong?" Gray asked her, "look at the people" Jasmine said, and they looked around to find them being stared at, but when Gray turned back towards Jasmine, he could see fear in her eyes, he then placed a hand on her shoulder, "Jasmine" he said snapping her out of it, "they're whispering about the guild" Jasmine said making the others panic too, "let's keep moving" Erza said as they walked onward, but when the guild was in their view, they froze, "what happened?" Lucy asked shocked, the guild has iron like bars coming out of it from all directions, it was ruined. "Who did this?" Jasmine growled in anger, "WHO DID THIS TO OUR GUILD!?" she yelled, "but who would do such a thing?" Erza asked, "it was Phantom" they herd Mira say behind them, "are you serious?" Gray asked as he was trying to calm Jasmine, "Phantom did this?" Natsu said just as angry as Jasmine, "we couldn't do anything to stop them, they got us good" Mira said in the verge of tears. 

Everyone was in the basement looking upset and defeated, "hey there kids, how's it going" The Master said drunk as anything, "sorry we weren't here sooner" Erza said looking down, "why the heck are you all just sitting around down here," Natsu asked getting frustrated, "Master, do you understand the gravity of this situation?" Erza asked him making sure he was paying attention, but he was too drunk, "there's no need to get yourselves worked up, it's not the end of the world or anything, just shows how cowardly those Phantoms really are, they struck when no one was here," Makarov said drinking more, "I suppose we can be thankful no one was hurt" Jasmine said looking down trying to hide her anger, "forget about those fools" Makarov said, suddenly the wall was broken by Natsu, "ain't gonna happen Gramps, we can't just let them trash our place and get away with it" Natsu yelled, "oh keep your dress on, I gotta take a leak" Makarov said running off. "Jasmine why the hell didn't you back me up!" Natsu yelled at her, "I want to get pay back just as much as you, but fighting between guilds is forbidden and you know it" Jasmine said to him, making him calm down, "The Master cares, but he knows the rules as well, that's why he's in this state" she finished, "it's crazy how calm she can keep him" Lucy whispered to Gray, "they were both raised by dragons and have similar magic, I guess they understand each other" Gray said, but he had a little jealousy in him.

"Are you sure we should be here, I mean she is going to go crazy" Jasmine said walking around a very neat room, "we should stick together, it's much safer this way" Erza said making herself comfy, "why are you here!" Lucy yelled throwing her suitcase into Natsu's face, "told you she would freak out about us being in her home" Jasmine said sitting on the bed. "Since the guilds been attacked, we can assume there are Phantom lord members in town," Erza explained, Gray then sat next to Jasmine on the bed making her blush, "they probably found out where everyone lives by now" he said making Lucy scared. "Mira suggested we stick together to strengthen numbers" Jasmine said trying to hide her blush from Gray, "I guess she's right" Lucy said, "so everyone in Fairy Tail is having a slumber party tonight" Happy said getting excited. "So it was already decided it would be my place for tonight" Lucy groaned, while Jasmine and Gray were sitting on the bed, the rest decided to go trough Lucy's things, which made her angry. "I need some shut eye, so could you guys keep it down" he said taking his clothes off, "we have a serious problem here, you boys hygiene, I refuse too sleep in a room that smells of sweat" Erza said with a stern look, "I don't want to take a bath now" Natsu whined, "but I already got into bed" Gray also whined, Erza then grabbed them by the shoulders, "come on boys, do we have to take a bath together like we used to as kids" she said making them uncomfortable, "what kind of relationship do you guys have!" Lucy exclaimed.

Jasmine had just come out of the bath and came into the room in her just her towel, "hey Lucy, do you have anything I can borrow for tonight?" Jasmine asked walking in, "yeah sure, in those draws just grab anything you like" she said going into the bathroom to take a bath, as Jasmine went over she caught a glimpse of Gray staring at her, "what's wrong" she asked looking over, "umm, nothing" he said turning away while blushing, but then she remembered she was standing there with just a towel to cover, she smiled a little and got some clothes to change into. When she was done she walked back in and saw Natsu sleeping with his head on the table, "passed out like usual" she sighed and lifted his head to put a pillow under it, she then saw Gray reading something on Lucy's desk, "watcha reading?" she asked leaning over his shoulder, "I think she's writing a book, it's actually pretty good" he said, "I hope you asked before reading" Jasmine said patting his shoulder and walking over to the bed. "Ok Natsu your up, I'm all done with my bath" Lucy said walking into the room, but he was still fast asleep. "You wanna take his spot Gray?" she asked him but he only grunted. "You should, it was so relaxing" Erza said sitting in her pajamas. 

"I gotta ask you guys something, do you have any idea why Phantom attacked us out of the blue like that?" Lucy asked them, "we honestly have no idea, we have had our fair share of scuffles in the past, but never on this level before" Jasmine said brushing her hair, "if Gramps wasn't so scared of them we could wipe out those punks once and for all" Natsu said leaning his chin on the table, "since when are you awake" Jasmine said to him, "come on you know Master isn't afraid of them, you seem to be forgetting he's one of the ten wizard saints" Gray said to him, that's when Lucy saw he was reading her book, "I never gave you permission to read that, gimme" she said snatching it out of his hand, "you can't snatch it out of my hands without at least telling me what happens next" he said trying to reach for it, "yes I can, and I promised Levy she would be the first to read it" Lucy said holding it close to her, "so what's with these ten wizard saints anyway" Lucy asked changing the subject, "it's an honor made by the magic council, a title shared with the ten most powerful wizards," Erza explained, but both her and Jasmine thought of one man who was one of the ten wizard saints, and they shared a look with each other before looking away. "But I don't understand why we can't fight back" Lucy said, "conflict between guilds is forbidden by the magic council, anyway if we were to go up against Phantom, neither guild would survive, their strength equals ours" Jasmine explained, "Their Master is one of the ten wizard saints, and he has wizards like S-Class wizards known as the element four" Erza said. "However their biggest threat might be Black Steel Gajeel, I think he was the one who attacked the guild" Jasmine said clenching her fists, "he's know as the iron dragon slayer," Erza finished, "he's a dragon slayer too, I thought Natsu and Jasmine were the only ones" Lucy exclaimed. "Come on enough, I want some shut eye after the day we've had" Gray said getting up and getting ready for bed, the rest of the group agreed and did the same.

It was the next morning, and Jasmine woke up with a bad feeling in her stomach, "you ok Jasmine?" Lucy asked her, ""we need to go, somethings not right" Jasmine said getting up and getting dressed, "is she ok?" Lucy asked Gray, Gray looked at with a sadness in his eyes, "when something smells different in the air, or if she hears the slightest thing she panics, her senses are more powerful than Natsu's" Gray explained making Lucy feel sorry for her. They headed outside and they made their way to the guild, but not before someone stopped them, "you have to go to southgate park, somethings happened" the civilian said, Jasmine didn't even wait a second and ran to the park, she new something was wrong and she was right. "Jasmine wait," Erza shouted and they followed her, they got to the park and saw a group of people surrounding the big tree, Jasmine and the others made their way through, but when they looked up on the tree, they were horrified. Levy, Jet, and Droy were hung up with iron around their wrists, and they looked beaten, "oh no Levy!" Lucy cried out, on Levy's stomach was the Phantom symbol, Jasmine's teeth were clenched, her fists trembling, and her whole body was shaking in anger, "Jasmine please" Erza said, but an aura formed around Jasmine's body, "Phantom did this!" she growled, "Jasmine don't do this" Gray said standing in front of her and putting his hands on her cheeks, "what's happening to her" Lucy asked afraid, "when she gets this angry, she changes, but she's under the Masters orders not to unless he says so" Natsu said just as upset as the others, "what do you mean change?" Lucy asked, but she was interrupted, "Jasmine enough!" they herd the Master yell, but she wasn't calming down, "look at me Jasmine," he said, Jasmine opened her eyes and looked at the Master, "I can take the guild being reduced to rubble, but I will not let harm come to my children without taking revenge, we have no choice but to go to war" he said, but Jasmine's aura grew bigger, "but control your anger Jasmine or you will wipe us all out in the battle," he said, Jasmine new she had to calm down, "Jasmine you know you can't change, especially not here, please for me, calm down" Gray said making her look into his eyes, Jasmine gripped his arms and took deep breathes in, and she finally calmed down, "nobody hurts my friends, let's get them" she growled.
