Part 2

Everyone at Fairy Tail had gathered around Jasmine's house to celebrate her birthday, but everyone just looked sad and depressed that she still hasn't come home, Gray stepped forward and put some flowers down, he knew roses were her favorite, "Gray, are you alright?" Mira asked him as he hadn't got up from his knelt position yet, "I'm fine" he said getting up and walking back to the group, it was now Master Makarov's turn to put a gift down, "oh my child, do come back soon, Fairy Tail needs you" he sighed putting a little teddy bear down, "such a sweet girl she was" Wakaba said smoking his pipe, "where is Natsu, he should be here by now" Erza asked as Lucy shrugged her shoulders, "I know I don't know her, but from what I've herd she was the life and soul of Fairy Tail, I hope she is ok" Lucy said putting a flower down. Mira and Elfman then stepped forward to put some gifts down, "where ever she is, I hope it's somewhere safe" Elfman said putting a hand on his sister's shoulder, Mira nodded and wiped a tear away as they stepped back, Erza then walked up to put a gift down, "she was always like a sister to me, to all of us" Erza said standing proudly. 

"Hey guys" they herd Natsu shout in the distance, they all turned and saw him smiling and waving, and they were confused as to why, "there you are your late idiot" Gray yelled, "and I'll show you why" he said stepping aside and revealing Jasmine, who stood there looking a little shy. Everyone's eyes widened in shock at the sight of her, she had come home. "Jasmine?" Erza gasped making Jasmine look at her, she looked at everyone until her eyes landed on Gray, his eyes were wide and he looked paralyzed in place. Jasmine then saw all the gifts at her house and was confused, "what's all this?" she asked, but everyone was too shocked to answer, so Natsu did, "every year on your birthday, we come here to put gifts down that we would have given you, hoping you would come home to see them" he said putting a hand on her shoulder, "oh my god, I had no idea" Jasmine said as tears fell, "don't cry, you have no reason to shed tears" Mira said stepping forward and taking her hands in hers, "your home, that's all that matters" she cried as she pulled her in for hug and held her tightly, everyone then came over and joined in on the hug, "I'm so sorry Mira, I couldn't take the guilt of Lisanna and I ran, I had no idea it would affect everyone like this" Jasmine cried into her shoulder, that's when Elfman spoke up, "no Jasmine, don't you dare put the blame on yourself, it wasn't your fault, Lisanna would hate the fact you blame yourself," Elfman said holding her tighter. "My child" Master Makarov called out as everyone pulled away from the hug, "Elfman is right, we can't cheat death, but we can remember them in our hearts, being apart of Fairy Tail means we share the heartbreak we go through, so none of us are alone, let us help you to take away the pain, so we can see your beautiful smile again" he said, and Jasmine couldn't help but burst into tears at his speech, everyone else had a tear in their eyes. "Come on, it's still your birthday, I think it's time we really celebrated" Erza said wiping her tears away, "alright it's party time!" Natsu yelled, "aye!" Happy cheered making everyone laugh. 

Back at the guild, everyone was laughing, cheering and drinking, Jasmine was sitting at a tbale watching everyone with a smile on her face, that's when Lucy came over, "hello Jasmine, I haven't had the chance to introduce myself, my name is Lucy, I joined not long ago" Lucy said smiling at her, "it's so nice to meet you Lucy, Natsu has told me a lot about you on our way here, your a celestial wizard I believe" Jasmine said making Lucy nod, "you must be quite the collector, I've always been interested in that type of magic" Jasmine said making Lucy giggle, "I'll show you all my keys and spirits sometime, I would love us to become good friends" Lucy said making Jasmine giggle as well. Erza then came and sat next to them, "I'm glad your back Jasmine, you have no idea how worried I was about you," Erza said giving her a warm smile, "I'm sorry I made all of you worry, it was stupid of me to run away, I should of come to you all when I was hurting, but I didn't want to burden anyone" Jasmine explained, and Lucy felt sorry for her, "stop apologizing, your home and that's all we care about" Erza said hugging her. 

It was getting late most of the guild had head home for the night, but Jasmine stood outside leaning against the guild walls, looking into the night sky. But she was interrupted when Gray came outside, "your here" he said going over and leaning on the wall next to her, "here I am" Jasmine said looking down, "I know we never saw eye to eye, but I am glad your back and safe" Gray said looking away from her, "and yet you can't even look at me when you say that" Jasmine sighed and pushed herself of the wall to walk away, "I was trying to be nice to you, why are you picking a fight now?" he asked getting of the wall and stepping forward, "because I know you don't mean it, I mean you haven't spoke a word to me since I've been back, I can see things haven't changed between us, so you don't have to be nice to me, we can go back to how we were" she said making him more angry, "fine, I don't even know why you came back anyway, maybe you were better off gone" he said and stormed past her, but he instantly regretted saying that and went to turn around and apologize, but she was already in the distance walking home. 

The next day Jasmine walked into the guild and everyone greeted her with wide smiles, making her smile as well, but she couldn't get what Gray said to her out of her head, she was hurt, he has said stuff to her in the past and she said things to him, but this time it felt different. Jasmine sat at the bar and waited for Mira, but she came down from the second floor worried, "Master, someone has took one of the S-Class quests," she said in a frantic, "who would do that?" Jasmine asked standing up, "I know" someone said. they all herd Laxus as he was sat on the second floor where the S-Class quests are, "I see your back Jasmine, after our history together I would have thought you come to me first" he said giving her a smirk, "she doesn't have to do anything for you" Gray said walking up beside Jasmine, who looked at him shocked, "just because you two used to date doesn't mean she belongs to you" Gray finished, "I can fight my own battles Gray" Jasmine said shoving him, "I'm trust trying to be your friend" he said head butting her, "we aren't friends" she yelled head butting him back, "stop it you two!" Makarov yelled making them stop. "Who took the quest Laxus" Mira asked him, "I don't know, but a little blue cat flew up here and ripped the quest of the board" Laxus said making Jasmine angry, "Happy took it? Why didn't you say anything before!" Jasmine yelled up at him, "oh lighten up Princess, all I saw was a blue cat flying off, I didn't know it was Happy until you said, plus Natsu isn't clear for S-Class, I never dreamed he would break the rules" he said making Jasmine look at him with fury in her eyes, and Gray noticed, "well well, you haven't given me that look in while, why don't you come up here, now that your back, maybe we can rekindle ourselves" Laxus said smirking at her, Gray saw her fists clench and he could tell she was about to blow, so did the Master, "enough Laxus! Jasmine, go after him, with Erza being on a job your the only one strong enough to drag him back here" Makarov said making her calm down, Jasmine nodded and went to leave, "go with her Gray" Makarov said making Jasmine turn back around, "I don't need him!" Jasmine yelled making Gray grunt in anger, "yeah well I don't want to tag along with you either flame brain" he said making her but heads with him, "what did you say ice princess!" she yelled, "enough! It's bad enough that Gray and Natsu fight I don't need another joining in, not right now, go and bring him back, and Lucy too, I guarantee she has gone with them as well" Makarov said knocking their heads together hard, "fine" they both said and ran out the guild.
