The Arrangement

As their picnic ended, Maya and Carina began to gather everything to head back. Carina's phone buzzed with message from her mother saying they were going to take a break before getting ready for the evening's events.

"They are resting before the social" Carina relayed to Maya.

"Nice, that sounds like a good plan" Maya said starting to yawn "Someone kept me up late last night."

"I didn't hear you objecting last night." Carina smiled as she tossed a towel at Maya.

They joined hands as they walked back to their rooms. The inside of the winery had been transformed into charming location for the evening event. The wildflower bouquets on the tables added a layer of elegance. Maya walked Carina to the back stair case intending to allow Carina to rest alone.

"You aren't coming up?" Carina questioned tugging on Maya's arm.

Pulling her into an embrace Maya whispers "If I come up with you, I am not sure either one of us will rest." She chuckled.

"Oh" Carina said pouting slightly. She was doing her best to sway Maya with her pouting face. "Possiamo davvero semplicemente dormire"

Maya could feel her dick twitch in her jeans with the sound of Italian coming from Carina's lips. "That's not fair." Maya pleaded.

"Mi mancherai tra le mie gambe" Carina continued pushing herself into the front of Maya's body.

Maya pulled in a deep breath pulling in Carina's scent trying to calm the appendage between her legs. "Babe" Maya pleaded.

"Babe?" Carina laughed "I like it. I understand and I won't push you anymore."

Maya pulled her in for a quick kiss, "Thank you. I will see you in a little bit." Maya watched as Carina turn around and walk up the stairs using exaggerated hip movements knowing Maya's eyes would not be able to look away.

Maya headed to the business center to work out a few more aspects before this evening. Since Lane and Vincenzo discussed the deal she couldn't get past wanting to run some of the numbers herself to verify.

Knowing her team was still at the office Maya grabbed her phone.

"Can you have the team check out Howard Yarn, a tech firm based out of Chicago." Maya texted Sarah

"Sure" Sarah texted back quickly "How is the venue?"

"It's very nice. Can you also pull any patents associated with the company too?" Maya responded

"Certainly, will have some of this information here for you shortly. I can't wait to see everything for the wedding." Sarah responded.

Maya couldn't help but feel a bit skeptical of this impending deal. Her father was praising the deal but something didn't feel completely right. Maya continued to do a little research on her own while awaiting her team's input.

Within the hour Maya's team had presented her with unfavorable intel on the business deal Lane and Vincenzo were banking on her to help them close tonight. Sarah had emailed the packet of information that Maya printed and had spread out on the table working over each number closely.

Dialing Jack's number she knew her father wouldn't just accept her saying the deal was no good without a lot of hard evidence. "Hey" Jack answered

"Hey, thanks for the info but I need a few more favors." Maya said "Can you please look into another company for me Bowling Tree, it is a tech firm out of Miami. My families business has had some smaller deals with them before."
