19: Night Out

Literally nothing happens this chapter. Nothing interesting.

GOOB'S POV~

Shrimpo has been way nicer lately... He's been talking with everyone without saying that he hates them or insulting anyone, and he even made friends with Razzle and Dazzle, after he found out they both like the same comic.
Well... That's not good news to me! All he does now is hang out with everyone else. He's incredibly nice to me and i value every single moment i spend with him, but... I want more time with him! Why does he always go out with Glisten, bake with Cosmo and Sprout or read comics with Razzle and Dazzle?! Why not do all that with me?!

I violently kicked my legs on the bench as i looked at Shrimpo walking alongside Boxten. They seemed to be having fun. Ew.

I got up and walked to my room. I can't stand this! He didn't even look at me!
I slammed the door to my room and leaped on my bed.

After a few hours, Shrimpo walked into my room. About time!

"Goob! You sleepin'?"

I grunted and ignored him.

"What, are you sick or something?"

"No. Hmph!" I pouted and pulled the blanket tighter over me.

"Ahh! You're in a bad mood! That's how i like ya!" Laughed Shrimpo.

"Seriously?! Making fun of me now?!" I shouted, still facing away from him.

"Well, tell me what happened! Also, turn around. I want to see that rare angry face of yours."

I quickly got out of bed and leaped in front of Shrimpo.

"Well, what did you do today?" I asked angrily.

"Well... I hung out with Boxten just now, i baked a bunch of cookies with Cosmo because Sprout is unwell and he couldn't attend... Oh! I made some origami with Scraps!" He answered.

"Well where's me on that list?" I asked, tapping my foot against the ground.

"Ah, i get it now! You're jealous!" Giggled Shrimpo.

"I'm not! You barely spend time with me anymore!" I crossed my arms.

"Goob. Half my day was dedicated to you yesterday, and today i literally just came into your room to stay with you."

"EughIT'S STILL JUST HALF A DAY!!" I complained.

"Okay. How about this? We go out now, stay together till late at night then come back and i sleep in your room?"

"Good..." I spoke silently as i looked away.

"And would you also like a little plushie of me to squeeze at night with that schedule?" Shrimpo mocked me, giggling.

"I'M not that clingy!" I said as i followed Shrimpo out of the room.

"Ohoho, you're so clingy your body had to adapt to be made specifically for hugging and dragging people to you." Laughed Shrimpo.

"I... Shut up!" I tugged on Shrimpo's shirt.

"You're so clingy you can't sleep without me giving you a kiss goodnight!"

"Hey! That's..."

"You're SO CLINGY you went into depression when i left for ONE DAY." Shrimpo continued.

"...yeah. I get it. You can stop now." I mumbled angrily.

We stopped by the kitchen to get some food.

"Ham sandwich, just as i like it, burnt to the core." Shrimpo told Cosmo.

"And what about you, Goob?" He asked.

"Shrimp!" I giggled and looked at Shrimpo with a smug smile.

"Is that a threat...?" Shrimpo whispered silently.

We picked up our food and exited Gardenview.

"How are you even gonna eat that while walking?!" Asked Shrimpo, chewing on his sandwich.

"I'll figure it out!" I said while trying to get a bite.

SHRIMPO'S POV~

The gentle sun rays shined over me as i walked alongside Goob. I stopped in my tracks when i noticed him licking one of his shrimps while looking at me.

"Ew. Stop that. If you're trying to be hot or something, it's not working."   (😦)

Goob ate his shrimp properly and continued walking.

"Then, walk faster! I can't stop for you every few meters!" He spoke with food still in his mouth.

"I'm not an athlete! I don't even know how you can walk that fast."

"It's natural~" He turned around and waited for me again.

When we finished our food, we both sat next to a tree on the grass.
Goob didn't hesitate to grab me into a hug and glue me right to him. (METAPHORICALLY)

"GOOB...! You have to stop doing this..." I spoke, muffled by Goob's fur.

"Sorry...Heh." He began gently stroking my back and made me a bit sleepy.

"So like... Can you stretch your arms forever or... How does it work?"

"To be entirely honest, it hurts a little when i stretch them. Scraps said that if i keep them stretched out for too long they'll remain stretched forever!" He spoke.

"I guess that's how elastics work... "

"Uh-huh. Can we go back now? It's getting dark."

"Of course, dear." I spoke softly before reaching up and pulling Goob into a quick kiss.

I smiled when i saw him blush and cover his face. We've been doing this for so long yet he still gets flustered! I love that though...
We returned to Gardenview and enjoyed a good sleep together.
