"Fuck." When they finally made it back to the Hotel, Adam slammed the door open and flopped down on the couch. "Fuckity fuckity fuck."
Vaggie smiled at him, still tired from the day they all had. Nice to have the resident himbo back. She thought to herself.
Charlie yawned and sat on a different couch. Lucifer sat next to her, looking thoroughly exhausted. Emily was the only one who had any energy left, and she walked around vivaciously, exploring the hotel. Sir Pentious followed her upstairs, leaving Vaggie, Husk, Angel, Molly, Cherri, Niffty, Lucifer, and Charlie alone with Adam.
Adam was still talking. "I mean, did you see how many of them there were? There was like, a billion! And-and by the way, that short chick slapped me! I slapped a bitch once in Heaven, and she said it was 'assault' or some shit. Was I assaulted? And then she threw me outside to those-those demons! They were gonna fucking kill me! Fuuuuuck." He moaned and pressed his face into the couch cushions.
"Uh..." Vaggie awkwardly placed a hand on his shoulder. "You okay, dude?" Dumb question.
Adam rolled over and pushed himself up. "Yeah, I just..." He looked around at them for a moment, desperately scanning the room. "You." He pointed at Husk. The cat raised his eyebrows. "I need a drink. A lot of them, actually."
Husk looked like he was about to refuse, but his gaze softened and he nodded. "Alright, come on." Adam dragged himself over to the bar, and Husk opened a bottle. "Anyone else for a drink?""Fuck yes." Molly and Angel said at the same time, causing the two of them to grin at one another.
"I'm game," Lucifer called.
"Ugh, me too," Charlie said.
"Yes, please." Cherri smirked, plopping down onto a barstool. Niffty scurried after her, climbing onto the counter.
"Alright, then, folks." Adam downed his first shot, slamming the empty glass onto the table. "I'm going to get so fucked up, I won't even recognize any of you bitches. You're welcome to join me." He reached for another glass.
Husk started pouring more drinks for the gang, looking up at Vaggie, who was still on the couch. "You comin'?" He asked. "If Adam gets drunk enough, we can tie him naked to the toilet."
Vaggie laughed at that. "Enticing offer, but no thanks." She got up and headed for the staircase, as Molly began telling the group a story about Angel from their childhood. I really need a nap.
Before she could make it more than three steps up the stairs, the doorbell rang. Nobody at the bar heard it; they were too busy laughing and sharing stories. Hesitantly, she came back down and grabbed her spear. What if they're here for Adam?
She approached the door cautiously and opened it. A gruff looking man wearing a T-shirt that read 'Hell's Kitchen' stood in front of her, holding three pizza boxes.
"Hey," Adam called from the bar. "I ordered those hours ago! Jesus, even the delivery service sucks down here!"
Vaggie sighed and dropped her weapon. "Thank you." She took the pizza and closed the door, leaving the boxes on the couch. The Egg Bois will eat it.
She began to head upstairs for the second time when the doorbell rang once more. Rolling her eyes, she crossed the room and opened the door again.
Lilith stood there, looking slightly disheveled. When did she even leave? There was a gash on her forehead and her hair was ruffled, taking away from her typically pristine appearance. Her expression betrayed nothing, and she looked down on Vaggie, her nose wrinkled. Alastor was at her side, smiling as usual, although he too looked somewhat out of sorts.
