Prologue

My life has always been ordinary, nothing really ever special about it. Working at a cafe nearby the apartment I'm renting with my best friend.

I never really looked in to what my future would be like a year or a decade from now. I've always lived in to the moment, never thought of what came after.

But what I never expected was for my life to take a complete turn, for the best or for the worst once a mysterious woman entered the cafe.  Having me wrapped around her finger the moment her eyes landed on me.

Cat eyes that could pierce through anyone's heart, a cold demeanor that shuts her out from the rest of the world, a beauty that has me mesmerized. And I should've known in that moment that her beauty couldn't be real, that there was something hidden behind those hazel colored eyes.

And what if I told you that I fell in love in the most unordinary way ever, and that I fell in love with someone that came from the books I read growing up. It was crazy, completely out of this world.

And at one point I still wonder what made me think it was all okay. Was it when I found myself tied to her with a life inside my belly that would cause a burst of happiness for both me and her? Or was it when her cold skin would press against my own as I found myself sinking in to her arms? Even when it felt so cold against her?

Who knew the odds of this happening to me.

And that's when my life took the most drastic change, I went from working to survive to sitting at a thrown surrounded by her kind. Where I only dreaded to be able to live forever.

To live an eternal life beside the woman that I yearned to be next to. The woman I feared of ever living alone if I stayed in my normal life. Love truly made you make impulsive decisions, but the kind you'd never regret.

And it was a wish that the lord himself heard and granted to me.

But first, let's travel back in time and meet the woman I fell in love with.
