Togetherer Breakfast

it's a short one

Eventually the group made their way back up to the house part of the temple, and decided to make another 'Together Breakfast', now double it's original size. Garnet handled the waffles, popping two into the toaster at a time and waiting patiently. Amethyst helped with the popcorn, struggling to put the packages in the microwave. Garnet stacked the last two waffles onto the plate, Pearl drizzled the chocolate syrup, Steven dumped two bags of popcorn onto it, and Onyx sprayed a hefty amount of whipped cream on top. Then, very carefully, Steven stepped up. He stood in front of the plate and watched warily as he moved his hand, which now held a nice red strawberry. Finally, he slowly lowered it down onto the whipped cream, then grinned happily once he finished. He stepped away and joined the gems on the other side of the counter.

"It looks great!" Steven smiled and looked up towards Pearl.

"It's even more Together and even more Breakfast!" He then redirected his attention to the plate, however, the food resting on it no longer seemed so appetizing. The gems stared at it warily, not wanting to eat it themselves. Onyx however, didn't exactly share that look.

"I don't think I can eat this." Steven said bluntly, breaking the silence.

"Let's order a pizza..." Amethyst suggested, shrugging her shoulders. The gems expressed their excitement over this, it was closer to lunch time now anyway. The only one who didn't chime in with a response was Onyx, who now had his mouth open and a hand outstretched. Suddenly, he slammed his palm into the food, sending small bits of popcorn and whipped cream in every direction. The gems looked at him, a mixture of emotions upon their faces as they watched him eagerly shovel the waffles into his mouth.
