The students were gathered outside in the hall, greeting or awaiting their families.

Dawn was the latter, standing with her hands folded behind her back as she waited anxiously, wondering which one of her brothers was tagging along, ready to crush her spirit.

Red and Chloe, meanwhile, watched from the nearest hall.

The Princess of the Southern's heart dropped when she found the golden child who was all by himself.

Hans was their father's favorite son, and their brothers detested him and mistreated him greatly because of it.

He was the youngest of the boys, so he believed it gave him power to control his sister's life as their parents didn't pay her much attention.

Dawn straightened her posture, her fingers drumming against her knuckles as her body trembled.

Chloe smirked as she was captivated by the handsome Prince of the Southern Isles. "Who's he?"

"That's my dad." Red dismissed her, echoing exactly what the blue haired girl said about her own father, causing Chloe to go wide-eyed in regret.

She then looked at her family, watching as Dawn bowed to the Prince of the Southern Isles. She analyzed the siblings and noticed how she could see a resemblance that she had never noticed before, in their eyes.

Dawn's were much deeper, like the sea before a storm, while Han's resembled the water when it shined from the sun.

It matched their personalities: gentle but angsty, and striking but serene.

His brows furrowed, noticing the small cut on his sister's cheek, so he gripped her chin and turned her face for a closer look, puzzling her.

"What happened to your face?" his tone was sharp, as if expecting a ridiculous story to follow.

Shock shadowed her features as her heart picked up, having forgotten to cover it due to being so stressed anticipating this day.

"I..fell," she blurted out coyly, anxiously, and at that moment, Red did not recognize either of them.

"Dad sent me here because he doesn't trust you, kid. And honestly, neither do I." Hans firmly declared, letting go of his sister's chin forcefully and sending her to stumble gathering herself.

Red could cry at the sight of her father being so cruel to his own sister, the one he claimed that he trusted and loved more than anyone.

Chloe, meanwhile, searched the room eagerly for her mother, and her heart broke in her chest when she realized that she just stayed home.
