"Do you think $80 is too much for a beanbag chair?" Adriana looks up from Instagram, at Estrella stretching her phone screen towards her from across the couch, squinting at the the small picture of a grey blob.
She shrugs, shaking her head replying,"I don't think so, but I'm not a beanbag chair expert." Her best friend just nods, looking closely at her phone again, focusing hard on the ad. Adriana sighs, looking at the comment again before clicking her phone off and pulling her blanket up to her chin. Estrella glances at the pale girl, setting her phone down with a serious expression.
"You ok?" The singer just sighs, sitting up against the couch. "Just nostalgic I guess about dove. Just, remembering those times." Her voice is soft and far away as she stares at her knees. The curly haired girl nods as she crawls over the cushions and wraps her arms around her, cheeks pressed together.
"I know. Can't believe it's already 5 years. You're not 19 anymore," She murmurs softly, rubbing the brunette's back gently. Adriana sighs, resting her chin on Estrella's arm, closing her eyes as she hums.
"I know, time flies by," she swallows, pushing back memories. It's been over 5 years since she'd last seen him, 5 years since that night she left his apartment in tears, heartbroken and betrayed. 5 years since that album was born, that piece of her heart. She closed her eyes as she remembered everything, something she did to remind herself of her strength, to remember she did the best thing in letting him go.
