"Anirudh", she calls out softly, trying to wake him up. She has been calling his name, wanting to wake him up but to no avail.

He sleeps like the dead.

She stood there, at the side of the bed, clueless. She has no idea what else to do in order to wake him up. She is not getting any nearer to him than she is now.

Not with Anirudh sleeping just in his bathrobe, and the tie around his waist is probably very very loose by now.

And she could tell by the way his chest is showing ever so clearly since the robe is no longer tightly wrapped around his body.

'Why on earth did this guy sleep in a bathrobe again?'

Inching closer to his side cautiously, she nervously blows her cheeks while trying to tap on his shoulder lightly. She gave him a light tap but then it didn't work. Damn it. She braved herself to get closer, leaning forward as her hand gently tapped on his shoulder again as she called his name.

"Anirudh? Wake up"

No answer

Suddenly, he lets out a soft whimper as he rolls to his side, facing her completely this time. Ohh god, that makes the fabric of the bathrobe fall to gravity, exposing more skin than it should. Bondita could almost see his entire upper torso and, for the love of god, it feels like she is sinning. Averting her eyes, she looks up to the ceiling, feeling a lump in her throat as she tries to swallow slowly.

Looking at the time now, she really needs to wake him up or else they will be late for the meeting. She braced herself to shift her gaze back to him, inching closer again as she extended her hand to wake him up. But then, without a warning, he caught her hand and pulled her to him making her fall into the small space beside him.

"I am awake". He said with his raspy morning voice, his eyes slowly open looking at her straight in the eyes.

Holding her breath as the heat travels all the way up to her cheeks, her soul seems to have left her body. She couldn't move as she looked down at Anirudh, eyes half-opened looking up at her.

'What is this? A drama?'

"Anirudh...m-my hand"

Anirudh didn't loosen his grip, instead he gently pulled her closer to him and to his surprise, Bondita didn't fight him.

"5 more minutes", he said lazily as he closed his eyes once again.

Bondita sat there, feeling confused at herself. She didn't even pull her hand off his-perhaps she didn't want to. Her mind seems to have war of its own, trying to figure the meaning behind her own action.

"Why do you look flustered so early in the morning?", his low raspy voice startled her, making her look up instantly.

"N-No. I am not"

"You do", he said as he gently tightens his fingers around bondita's hand, caressing it softly as he looks at her.

With Anirudh in this state, looking at her with that pair of sleepy eyes and messy bed hair. And his hand is gripping on hers, god knows what could happen next. She slowly tried to pull her hand but then Anirudh stopped her.

"I might be sleepy but why do you look prettier?", he asked with his sleepy voice, eyes barely opened.

Bondita's eyes widened when Anirudh said that. She has no idea what to reply to him thus she just looked down, avoiding his eyes.

"You're not fighting me this time", he said teasingly.

"You're sleep-talking. Just get up and shower. We need to go now-"
