Chapter 20: Again

THE NEXT DAY:

Like usual Jingyi and Jin Ling bickering in front of the pier, there visit to Yunmeng has finally ended after a couple of days. Wei Wuxian then called the others to come, as they will departure soon. The past Lan brothers walked in the boats, with past Wei Wuxian with them. During the time P.Wei Wuxian and P.Lan Wangji had gotten closer and for P.Lan Xichen and P.Jiang Cheng had been ignoring or had been distancing them self's with each other, but it is mostly p.Jiang cheng who is distancing.

During the boat ride, Jingyi told everyone that Lotus pier will soon open there doors again to the Cultivation world. Everyone was of course happy as they could finally visit Yunmeng freely without any worry. And products from Lotus pier will continue to flow like it always has been, and being able to sell there delicacies to other clans and cities.

After a couple of hours had passed then soon arrived at the dock of Caiyi town. Everyone left the boats and decided to enjoy Caiyi and take a look as there is an upcoming festival near by. Which a lot of Clans will be visiting and come for the festival. Many delecious foods and beautiful things will bed sold for the festival.

Later that afternoon:

Zizhen was at a stall which was selling sugar coated apples. After getting a lot of them to give to the others.

"Wow! this one is huge!"
Exclaimed Nie Huaisang, seeing how big the apple was and how the sugar was hard on the apple.

"Yeah so? just eat it or I'll will."
Said jiang Cheng as he took a bite at his own.

"Why don't we go lantern shopping!"
Said Wei Wuxian ad he looks around to see if there are any lanterns that are being sold. And he saw a stall and pointed it with his finger holding unto Lan Zhan's sleeve.

"Look! there is one! let's go and buy one! we can then float it when midnight struck." He said with a huge smile on his face, bringing his Lan Zhan with him to buy Lan Wangji's ears were clearly in a crimson color, by only just getting dragged by his beloved lover.

Meanwhile, Jiang Cheng and Lan Xichen were in an akward position, standing beside each other. As the other just continues to eat his food.
Nie Huaisang saw this and immediately went over to "borrow" Jiang Cheng for a moment. Nie Huaisang dragged him completely almost everywhere around the festival. Leaving Lan Xichen just to follow and watch them look and express there thoughts and comments.

One time during there load talking, a bright light starts to appear again this time blinding them very much. The people around them seemed to not notice, and also not noticing three people just disappeared infront of them.

The rest were as well blinded by the light, transporting them into another time line.

Everyone opened there eyes slowly, only to upon realizing they were at a beautiful serene place, the wind blows as the leaves of the trees flutter. Letting themselves being carried by the blow of the wind.

"Where are we?"
Asked the Nie who was fanning himself as his head looked around at the tranquil place.

"Thus place is for somehow familiar with me."
Said the Lan as he looked at the man with purple robes then his eyes shifted to the Nie.

They then started to hear a baby's giggle behind them. The three looked back and saw a cradle, the cradle has a design mixed with clouds and a lake. They could see a baby's hands trying to reach a specific item that is above him. The three walked over to the cradle and saw a baby boy.

The child smile grew wider and giggled even more than before. The baby has a mix with gray and amethyst color. The Nie smiled and started to play with the baby.

"What type of parent would leave a child outside. Won't there child be taken away?"
Asked the Jiang as he had a frown on his face.

"I do not think they'll just leave a cute baby out here Jiang-xiong."

"Huaisang is right, Jiang-gongzi."
Spoke Xichen. As he smiled at the baby who looked very energetic.

The child kept on giggling, and looked like he wanted to be picked up by the man. Not until they heard a voice of a man coming this way.

The three immediately ran and hid on the side of the walls of the territory. The door slid open, as they saw a man wearing light purple and white robes. His hair was half up and half down, with a bun and a purple ribbon holding it up.

"Shh... Shh... A-Yi?"

Said the man as he picked up the child who was still giggling. The other three men couldn't see who was the man who picked up the child. The man didn't even wore an outer robe, reaviling his slim waist.

"Why are you always so hyper?"

The man said as he turned around to place back the baby in the cradle. The three men who were hiding behind the walls eyes widen. As the man looked liked....
