Chapter 1

Felix pov

I was walking in the hallway, keeping my head low to avoid any bullies. As i was walking i bumped into something hard and as i looked up i realized i had fell down. The person who i bumped into put their hand out for me to reach. I grabbed his hand and stood up.

"Im so sorry i didn't see you." I apologized, hoping he wouldn't beat me up. "It's okay. Are you okay? You fell pretty hard." I froze for a second at the boys words. "U-uh yeah im fine. What's your name? My name's Felix." I asked the boy. "My name's Hyunjin. Nice to meet you, Felix." He put his hand out for me to shake it, i grabbed his hand and shook it lightly. "Nice to meet you too, Hyunjin."

I looked into the boys eyes for a moment. His eyes sparkled wonderfully in the light, i was lost in his eyes. As i was staring into his eyes, one of my bullys just had to ruin the moment. "Well, look who it is. It's the annoying, weird, and ugly loser." One of my bullys said as they stepped closer to me and grabbed my hand that was holding Hyunjin's. He slammed me against the locker and he punched me over and over.

He continued to punch but then he suddenly pulled away. I looked to see why and i saw Hyunjin had pushed him to the ground. The bully angrily stood up. "And who do you think you are?" The bully asked, facing Hyunjin. "Definitely not an asshole like you." Hyunjin snapped back at him. "Come on Sunghoon he's not worth it. Let's just head to class." One of the bully's friend said. He reluctantly left and i sighed, relieved he was gone. I went to thank Hyunjin but he had already left. I decided to just head to class. I grabbed my stuff from my locker then headed to my homeroom.

I sat in my seat then pulled out my textbook. "Did everyone do their homework last night?" The teacher asked. Shoot. I completely forgot. "If you didn't do your homework you have detention. Come write your name on the board if you didn't do your homework." The teacher said. I sighed as i stood up to write my name on the board. Me and 2 other people stood up to do it. "Really Felix? This is the 3rd time in a row you haven't done your homework." The teacher said, i head some people snicker and laugh along with some whispers.

I just sighed and decided to write my name then sit back down in my seat, ignoring the teachers words. The teacher sighed as she started the lesson. "Can anyone tell me the answer to question 6?" She asked, her voice soon faded out while my thoughts faded her words away. How could i not do my homework again? I can't do anything right. Im horrible at everything even my grades suck, nobody even likes me.

The only friend i have is my cousin who isn't even in the same continent as me. He's all the way in Korea, studying abroad. His name is Chan. He's my only friend but i only see him twice a year. Three if im lucky. My thoughts soon drained out as the teacher asked me a question. Now come on, how could i have the answer right at the too of my head. "Felix, Felix? Felix! Pay attention please." The teacher said and i snapped out my thoughts. "What's the answer to this question?"

I froze in my spot, i didn't know what to say since i wasn't paying attention. The teacher sighed then asked another student. I heard everyone whispering about me. I just ignored them and out my hood up and lied my head down on the table and was fighting back trying to sleep. After what felt like eternity, the bell rang. It was lunch time. My least favourite part of the day, well i hated everything about school. Only the fact i could go go the dance room during lunch.

Dancing instead of eating? Hell yeah. I sighed as i stood up and grabbed all my stuff. I put all my stuff and started to head to the dance room. I started dancing, the dances K-pop idols do. I love dancing. It keeps all my worries away. As i was dancing i noticed someone enter the room, i looked at their face and realized it was Hyunjin. "Hyunjin?" I stopped dancing for a moment and looked at him. "Felix!" He smiled almost immediately. "I didn't know you like to dance too."

Hyunjin said. I smiled at him. "I love dancing." I said as he smiled and headed next to me. "What dance are you doing?" He asked me, i wasn't quite sure how to tell him i was doing 'can't stop me' by twice. "Uhm.. can't stop me by twice..." i nervously said. Hyunjin's eyes lit up. "No way! You like twice too?" He asked, looking like he was so ready to jump out the window from excitement. "I love twice!" I smiled. "Im the biggest once ever." He said. "No way, i am." I crossed my arms. "Sorry i meant, we are the biggest onces." He chuckled.

I laughed as well. "So what are you doing here?" I asked him. "Im here to... dance! Yeah uhm yeah dance..." he nervously said. I noticed his nervous response but i didn't decide to ask further questions to not make him uncomfortable. "So what are you doing here?" Hyunjin asked me. I froze right in my spot. I usually come here to avoid eating and avoid the teachers asking me why im not eating. I paused for a moment, not knowing what to say. "Uh.. dancing! Yeah the same reason as you." I quietly and nervously said.

"Oh nice... so uhm.. mind if i learn the dance with you?" He asked, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. I smiled at him. "Of course! No need to ask." I smiled. Did i just make a friend? No way. I haven't made an actual friend since... i was 5 years old. I was surprised. We danced til lunch was over and we headed to the rest of our classes we had.
