The love of two moons

For you I'm a (sick) whore

As Titan wakes up he finds himself shivering
and overheating on the inside while it feels like he is icy-cold.
He feels horrible. His eyes are boilling and what's worse he might get Luna sick.
So he begins shaking him a bit.

"Luna,Luna." He coughs a bit after.

"Yeah?" His partner asks with a morning voice that is diffrent from the normal one he has gotten used to.

"You need to leave." Titan says looking worried.

"Why? Did something bad happend?"

"I have a cold." The bigger satelite states.

"You poor thing,let me take care of you."
Luna speaks as he gets up to get medicine for Titan.

"No,Luna,I might get you sick."

"And?"

"And I love you so please leave because I don't want you to be sick too."

"No."

"What do you mean no?"

"I'm taking care of you since you have a cold."

Titan wanted to object but he couldn't really do anything like this. He feels Luna place his hand on his forehead then his lips.

"Alright,you definetly are sick and have a fever. Change into some pyjamas that are thicker and I'll go get a few things from the pharmacy,okay?"

"Okay, Just be fast please."

"I will."

And so Luna gets out the door and rushes into the pharmacy. When he gets there he gets Benadryl,Sudafed,Advil and some cough drops. He pays then makes his way back.
Luna knocks on Titan's door since even though he is his boyfriend,he does not want to see him naked.
Titan imiedietly acknowledges the fact that it's Luna.

"Come in."

And so he enters the room and checks Titan's temperture by putting a hand on his forehead again.

"You really are warming up."

"How much?"

"I could probably cook an egg."

"Damn."

Luna goes to get a glass of water so that Titan can take an Advil. He then offers the water and the pill to him.
And Titan does just that.

"Are you cold right now?"

"Yeah,a bit. There's a thick blanket in the lower drawers of the closet. Can you get it?"

"Mhm." Luna hums kissing his lover on the cheeck.

"Here you go." The smaller satelite says as he takes the old blanket off Titan and puts on the other one. He makes sure to tuck him in like he would a moonling.
Luna gently lays beside his boyfriend.

"Do you need anything else?"

"Yeah."

"Like?"

"A hug from you."

"If you say so." He pulls up the cover and hugs the other moon.
After a while of silence Luna decides to proclaim his love for Titan.

"You can't even understand how much I love you."  He cups the taller moon's cheeks.

"How much?" Titan is curios,he wants to know.

"Before you started watching the rocky planets through the asteroid belt I was doing that except this time I was watching you.
And when I found out that you did that I was hoping you were doing that because you had took a liking to me."

"Really?"

"Yes,when I first heard your lovely laugh I had fallen head over heels for you.                 
It set my heart fluttering in my rib cage.
I couldn't say a thing as if my tounge was broken and there was only so little control over what happend.
My tounge stiffened and still does whenever I hear it.
Sweat would pour all over me,and my ears would start buzzing and my face would get redder than the roses that Aphrodite cut herself in the thorns of.
And all of my body shook with it being sallower than summer grass.
And then,just to show how much I loved you I started writing poems where I'd beg Aphrodite to stop making me so lovesick and get rid of the tension I had in my body every single time I start thinking about you.
That's how much I love you."

"That's.....a lot.."

"I know and I still keep them in my diary to this day in my old room,under the bed,with a padlock and key preventing any prying eyes from finding anything out."

"So...you're telling me that you couldn't stand up without trembeling whenever you saw me?"

"If I couldn't stand up straight? I fainted once just because I heard you laughing from another room." Luna says,looking deeply into Titan's eyes.

"Wha-what?" Titan can't belive what he's hearing. Are his ears deceiving him?

"Why? You wanna see the 20 pages I dedicated just to that stuff?"

"20..pages?"

"20 pages just for that." Luna says kissing Titan on the forehead.
His lover looks so shocked. Like he just discovered that Santa claus isn't real.

"How about you get some rest? You've definetly had quite the day."

"Yeah,I surely need a break after that confession."

"Alright then,I'll be here when you wake up."

And so Titan drifts off into a very much needed sleep.

Yes Sappho did inspire the "I heard your laugh from another room and fainted."
And all the other things that Luna says except for Aphrodite cutting herself in the thorns of roses.
The story goes that When Aphrodite found out some people planned to kill her mortal lover Adonis,she tried to warn him with a rose bush but ended up cutting herself on the thorns and sice blood dripped onto them they turned red.
