The love of two moons

A little bit scandalous

Today,everbody is called yet again to..Titan doesn't remember. What he does remember is that Luna's on his lap covering up his neck. "Stay still." He says,using the beauty blender to help the foundation settle it. "Done," he speaks,lifting himself off his boyfriend's legs. "Now,let me see if it's good enough." He turns Titan's face to get abetter look at his cover-up.

"Let's go." The major moons arrive first,that weird star's Solar System,then the jovians and the rocky planets. "Planets! We are having some issues."  All of them look up to the Sun and Nemisis who seems to be having a bad day. "Earth,Jupiter,Saturn,X and Luna,you five stay here. The rest of you leave." The others leave with Titan giving his lover one last hug before parting away from him.

"Luna. Nemisis's Solar System wants you back." The Sun looks down at him. "I gladly would but Earth still has these little creatures on his surface called humans. And I cannot leave him." Luna begins to focus on gazing at his nails for no particular reason. "I tried to explain that to Nemisis. The problem is he doesn't want to agree."

"I didn't agree to being Earth's moon either." He shots Jupiter and Saturn a look before facing the Sun.

"I didn't even give Hades and Luna to you." Nemisis spits. "I did not have a say in this. My own planet and moon! Taken away because you wanted to have the most."

"We are sorry-" Jupiter is cut off. "Sorry? I don't think you are sorry. I'm so fucking dissapointed in you,Jupiter. When the secret comes out your moons won't recognize who they've been orbiting. That goes for you too,Saturn." Luna is definetly not having it.

"I don't care if you knew what you were doing or not. You still kicked him out." Nemisis is not happy and it's clear to see. "Tell me," he continues. "Cronos or Saturn or whatever you call yourself,if I were to make you choose,the lives of your moons and Jupiter or your own,why do I think they'd win?"

"Because I care about them.." He doesn't lift his head from the ground. "Uh huh,and how do you think X felt when he lost one. It may have been only one,but do you know how badly it crushed him? It was like his own child. And you thought it'd be pretty neat to form rings out of it." Nemisis's attention turns to X.

"X,tell me,how much did you care about Kore?"

"He saved me..In all the ways a moon could save its planet."

"A good relationship between planet and moon? Never heard of that in your Solar System,Sol."

"Not my fault that they aren't on good terms-"

"Shut up. When I told you you couldn't have X what did you do? You went a step above my head and asked Saggitarius. You were asked if I agreed to give you X and you said yes. In reality,I told you that my planets were mine to save. And that if you got more than me,I wouldn't take them away from you. I kept my promise,no?"

"Yes,yes you did." Even the Sun seems embarassed.

"Jupiter,Saturn,you ruined everything for me." The red star turns to the gas giants. "Not just for me,but for Luna,for X,for Eros,for Kore-who had a bright future ahead of him-and for the rest of X's moons."

"Fuck you." Luna stares at them straight in the eyes with little to no grace.

"We understand you anger but-"

"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND MY ANGER! If you did..You wouldn't kick him out so soon.." Luna looks diffrent,his eyes are shaper and wider than usual with wrinkles on his face from clear disgust.

"Leave me to talk with Earth in private. You too,Sun." They all quietly leave to where the others were."What was that about?" "I'll tell you when we get home."

Nemisis kneels down to Earth's level. "You care about Luna,right?" Tears forming in his eyes. "Well,if X was saved by Kore,then I was saved by Luna." A drop rolls down his cheek.
"No matter how selfish or dumb I was he came back at the end of the day to make sure I was okay."

"Then,keep him." Nemisis places a hand on his shoulder. "R-really?"

"Mhm..You two seem to get along,and if this is what makes Luna happy then,this is where he'll stay."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome,just so you know we might come visit since the others miss him and stuff."

"As long as I get to keep him.."

They all go back home to where they belong,not before Earth gives Luna a hug,though.

"So,you said you'd explain it.." Titan brings it up. "Okay,so,long story short,I'm a borrowed moon from a planet that Jupiter and Saturn kicked out."

"WHAT?!" Saturn would never!"

"Well,this is proto-Saturn we're talking about. You don't have to hate him. Let's have a nap."

They both change into pyjamas and drift away into sleep.
